Youth-run venue located a few steps from the center of Tricase. Single small internal room with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The menu ranges from the typical proposals of a pizzeria to pucce, with also the possibility of opting for some typical dishes of Salento cuisine (including pieces of horse and bombette).
Although the meat is TENDER AND JUICY and the pucce are excellent, the pizza (with a pronounced edge and a center as thin as a veil) declined in different ways remains the undisputed protagonist...
They justify the recognition obtained by the red shrimp:
1) a LIGHT and DIGESTIBLE DOUGH, MELTING on the palate also present in other variants (hemp, turmeric, gluten free...);
2) IMPECCABLE COOKING;
3) the MASTERY of the pizza chefs;
4) the HIGH QUALITY and PARTICULARITY of the INGREDIENTS used (among the few to use swordfish carpaccio).
Furthermore, a courteous and helpful service, with never intrusive staff and a normal waiting time contribute to making this place a MUST STOP in the Salento food scene.

All in all a good place, good service and normal waiting times. The only negative aspect is the pizzas. The dough was too thin in the center with the edges so thick that they looked like life preservers, not to mention my girlfriend's pizza which came out with charred bubbles due to cooking. Since it is also a trattoria I did not have the pleasure of tasting the dishes from the kitchen.
I hope that they didn't give the "Gambero rosso" award mainly for the pizzas, because otherwise Gambero rosso would only have a sticker glued to the entrance door.

Excellent assortment of pizzas, in fact more of a pizzeria than a trattoria, it doesn't do first courses, the prices on starters are a little expensive.

Really good pizzas, both normal and gluten-free, classic location, nothing special, small room with few seats, which is why a maximum time is given to eat at the table, otherwise nothing to say, pizzas all arrived together (including gluten-free ) and above all, both the dough and the ingredients are delicious. Recommended, even for takeaway.

Sono del posto e ultimamente non frequento ne ristoranti ne pizzerie perché ultimamente i proprietari si son lasciati prendere un po’ troppo la mano e stanno speculando alla grande con questo caro prezzi..su questa pizzeria niente da dire sul prodotto perché essendo celiaco fanno una senza glutine ottima ma non puoi arrivare a pagarti una pizza neanche troppo elaborata ben 13 euro e 50..(3 euro per 3 fette di capocollo!)vi state dando con la zappa sui piedi…la gente non ne può piu..
