We set out without knowing the restaurant... and it was a pleasant discovery, the place was spartan but particular, the food for 10 we had everything based on lake fish, the appetizer from the lake was fabulous and plentiful and what about the queen carp in porchetta? Fabulous and also the frying...everything done at the moment in fact the owner at the time of booking told us not to be in a hurry...to return

I went one evening with friends for an informal dinner. The restaurant is located along the lake and offers both pizzas and first and second courses. The specialty however is lake fish. We took a mixed lake starter, various second courses including the eel skewer. Reasonable prices, taste, impeccable and efficient service. I absolutely recommend it.

Ci siamo fermati di ritorno dalla Toscana e siamo entrati senza particolari aspettative. Il ristorante si è invece rivelato molto carino, con vista lago e un menù sia di pesce che di terra. Ottimi i tagliolini alla tinca affumicata. Da sottolineare la presenza di piatti vegetariani sul menù. Da tornarci nella bella stagione

Mr. Guido's love and passion for lake fish makes this restaurant exclusive in Castiglione del Lago. Very good lake dishes, fig and walnut tart a delight on the palate! Super recommended

27/05/2024: Simply a great place to be for a meal! I was there tonight with few friends, and I found the food to be really good and with genuine and quality ingredients. More than that, it was also clear how the cook made each dish with care, which is not a given nowadays! Besides the food being good and well portioned, prices were super fair, including those for the many peculiar and well presented desserts they offer. In short, it is one of those places where you can find real local food with honest prices and a good atmosphere. Thumbs up for everyone who works there for the great service you gave us! We had honestly started having some doubts about local restaurants and the quality of the food delivered in Foligno, but now we understand that there are places where people still care about clients and offers them a great experience!! Well done and thank you: We will be back for sure!!

Bottega del Bove

10/11/2023: Di passaggio in Umbria abbiamo fatto una sosta nel magnifico borgo di Montefalco. Abbiamo pranzato alla Bottega del Bove e acquistato anche da portare a casa gli stessi prodotti. Formaggi e salumi sono produzioni locali. Ottima anche la proposta di vino e olio naturalmente anch'essi della zona. La qualità è davvero molto alta. Martina gestisce con passione e preparazione il suo bel locale. Una bella scoperta. Merita sicuramente una visita.
