25/05/2024: Refined food in a very evocative setting.

03/05/2024: The place is very nice, quiet and with a few tables in an old room with vaulted walls, perhaps the original location of the old trattoria. Despite the Michelin mention on the door I did not find the quality of the food exceptional in tastes or creativity. Nothing bad but at certain prices I expected something more. Offered by the innkeeper an appetizer of mince (beef) honestly without much flavour, let's say anonymous :). I then tasted different types of truly excellent bread, I don't know if they were home-made or from the baker, I would have continued my lunch with two more baskets of bread, they were so good, served with olive oil from Garda I think (I like them very intense oils more so I abstain from judgment). I had some maltagliati with a ragù of I don't remember which meat and my companion some gnocchi topped with cheese (casolet perhaps?). As I said before, both without glory and without infamy. Followed by two desserts, a well-made tiramisu and I don't remember the other dessert. To finish we were offered two small filled chocolates, which were also very, very good. All accompanied by a carafe of water (I don't remember if bottled or filtered, in Trentino I would honestly serve free spring water :) ) No wine, coffee or other closures for a total of 67.00 EURO. I don't think I'll go back but I can't advise against it either. Friendly staff. Furthermore, if you are looking for traditional Trentino "mountain" dishes this is not the right place. I say this because I found it, in the rush of the late hour, googling a "Typical Trentino Osteria", wanting to eat a nice polenta with some braised meat but then I found myself in a classic restaurant, even a little expensive, but now I no longer had time to look elsewhere ;-)
