Passing through Gioia Tauro on our way to Rome we stopped for lunch. We discovered it by searching on the internet. From the outside it is anonymous but once inside everything changes. Nice parking among the olive trees, garden. A large wooden veranda overlooking the garden/parking area houses the dining room. We ate very well. Delicious swordfish paccheri. Excellent tuna with onion and grilled vegetables. Excellent service and very kind owner. Prices more than honest. Very good.

On the occasion of an anniversary we had lunch on a Sunday in February. Friendly and helpful staff, welcoming environment. We tasted, among other things, paccheri with swordfish, pasta alla norma preceded by an abundant and varied homemade appetizer. And then fried calamari as a centerpiece. All truly delicious and plentiful. Excellent quality/price ratio!!! Highly recommended for enjoying a nice lunch in an environment that makes you feel at home.

Ci sono tornato dopo circa 15 anni ma ho trovato la stessa qualità e cortesia piatti di pesce e carne della nostra tradizione, cucinato veramente bene! Ci tornerò con molto piacere!

09/03/2024: I was there last night with my friends on the occasion of Women's Day. A little "cold" place We ordered a pizza menu which included: appetizer, pizza, drink and dessert. The starter was a bit poor but all in all decent. The pizza, at least mine was good, the sweet mimosa left a little to be desired. The service was good all things considered. there was live music composed by two people to liven up the party complete with karaoke, the only thing that bothered me was that the music was too, too loud during dinner. There were practically 11 of us at the table and we couldn't even exchange two words because we couldn't understand anything. It has never been seen that while diners are at the table, whether during lunch or dinner, there is deafening music or, better yet, starting with karaoke. Music should be played in the background during the meal.
