I reiterate my review from a long time ago. Excellent restaurant, all delicious. Excellent service, kindness and speed. It is definitely worth trying all the dishes on the menu. The fish is as excellent as the meat and the first courses are delicious.

The menu is not vast, but everything is of excellent quality, clean, and even though it was full we didn't wait long. The staff was very kind.

I tried to eat a cacciucco. Overcooked mussels looked like they were made of rubber, there was a head of hake inside and two whole large mullets, too bad they weren't even scaled, it was all a matter of taking scales and bones out of your mouth.... Not nice. My son is a chef and he had a risotto with salmon, the rice was a little undercooked. My daughter-in-law ate a cut, it was very good and the desserts were excellent

Il locale ci è stato segnalato da amici e da allora siamo clienti fidelizzati per la qualità (ci piacciono molto i piatti a base di pesce), la cortesia del personale ed il fatto che variano spesso il menù. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è davvero buono anche perché i piatti sono abbondanti. Consiglio vivamente.

17/12/2023: Quando salgo in moto al Muraglione se posso mi fermo al Cavallino per un boccone E' sicuramente meno affollato di quell'altro e soprattutto fanno una schiacciata con la finocchiona e il pecorino da fantascienza
15/11/2023: An ideal place for a refreshment while crossing the Muraglione pass for those coming from Forlì or for those coming from San Godenzo going up towards the pass. Stunning view towards the highest peaks of the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines. In front of the bar there is convenient parking and chairs with tables where you can eat local delicacies. The Schiacciata stuffed with cold cuts is very good. Very kind and friendly managers.

04/01/2024: Reserving a table at this restaurant on New Year’s Day was made super easy by TA’s The Fork app, and we were seated comfortably upon arrival by the friendly staff. The main dining purpose of our visit here was to sample the Bistecca Fiorentina, and boy, was it good. Mixed salads, a primo piatto of pappardelle were also good, and sides of roast potato and particularly the white beans were excellent. Likewise, to finish, affogato and beautifully-balanced grappa concluded our meal perfectly. I can thank a travel guide, very experienced with showing large tourist groups through Florence, for this recommendation - it was a delightful meal.
