Small, welcoming, quiet neighborhood trattoria in the Cecchignola area. Homemade cuisine with traditional dishes that does not disappoint, polite and fast service and prices in line with the times.

Trattoria tutta un po’ all’antica: nell’arredamento, incluse le tovaglie a scacchi, e nei piatti in menu - cosa che per me è positiva; meriterebbe decisamente più di tre stelle per come si è mangiato. Ma i tavoli sono troppo vicini, c’è un po’ di confusione e il servizio è troppo lento (ci hanno lasciato i piatti vuoti davanti per un bel po’). Ci ritornerò per capire se è stata “una giornata no”; e se troverò quantomeno il servizio più attento, sarò felice di dare un giudizio migliore.

Pranzo in famiglia..tutto perfetto, fettuccine ai funghi porcini da oscar ottimo la frittura e puntarelle sublime... complimenti!

La Nuova Cantinetta

30/04/2024: We spent a weekend in Rome and they encouraged us to go and eat in this beautiful place, very kind and friendly staff, really excellent food. If they were to ask me for a place to go to Rome I would definitely recommend it
10/03/2024: A true Roman tavern, according to the decalogue which I promptly photographed. Tripe is good. Maybe it's not chic, but if you want honesty and authenticity, a break from the usual plastic dishes, you have to stop by here.

22/05/2024: I happened to be in the Ostiense area and found this little pearl of Roman cuisine! The menu is truly varied and full of tasty specialties, I stuck to the classics and tried the cacio e pepe, fabulous. Even the mixed starter was full of stuff, very rich, and all good. I'll be back to try the Cacciatore meatballs!
22/05/2024: Cozy and pleasant place, the food was really very good, I was surprised. Excellent and fast service, truly amazing. The owners' daughter is a very nice girl, she really loves jokes about horses. Excellent, I recommend it
