This is an unbelievable place. Family run, small with bar. We had our last day Lake Como dinner here. We ordered Salads, Margarita Pizza, Arbiata sauce penne pasta, and cocktails. Everything was fresh and hot and tasty. Service was prompt. Antonio and young Rishor Rich worked at their best. Very good joint for almost home made food. Very basic but very unique place in Italy.

We ate in this restaurant without reservation (around 7:30 p.m.). In view of the reviews we went there with a little apprehension but we were delighted: fast service with friendly waiters, the pizzas were good and we had an excellent view of the lake.

Restaurant with a view of the lake. Many choices for all culinary choices. Fair prices, friendly service. Relaxed atmosphere with well appointed tables. English language spoken with a limited vocabulary.

We had dinner twice in this restaurant, always well received with a friendly waiter. The pizzas are inexpensive and very good, the view is exceptional, so we do not understand the negative comments about this restaurant. We recommend this restaurant

Nice view of the lake from the terrace. Lasagna was ok. They put marinated mushrooms, peppers, and artichokes on pizzas (even on some pizzas that don't need these vegetables like capriciossa) and that gives them a sour taste that is not very pleasant. They are generally ok, but the sour taste spoils it...

we had pizza which was delicious. No complain there. They do charge 2 euros per person for service regardless if you sit up or downstairs which I find kinda silly. When busy the waiters are overwhelmed..so patience is needed here when busy but otherwise when not the food and drinks come out fast.

22/08/2023: Always great to be here! I think we ate here 15 times during our holiday. Such a warm and lovely welcome and service. No matter how busy it is, there is always time for a chat. Mom stands in the kitchen and prepares every meal with love! It is not a restaurant with a Michelin star, but for us the Star that everyone at Albano deserves is worth much more! As I wrote, we have been there a lot and have also seen some particularly annoying customers. They were also treated with patience and respect time and time again. Then I read a story somewhere that someone apparently shared with a journalist friend about this place and the staff, which are unimaginable to customers who come here often. Claudio, you will see us again soon!
