No frills, but quite tasty. The portions are large that I even had to take some with me. Carbonara and pork steak with potatoes + bottle of water came out to almost 20 euros.

Spectacular fixed price menu €10, when I'm in the area at lunch time it's a regular stop! They offer a decent selection and vary continuously. All good and plentiful. From gnocchi with sauce to orecchiette with speck and peas or the variant broccoli and anchovy cream. From Roman saltimbocca, to grilled sausage or chicken breast. The meat hamburger mixed with artichokes or mixed with radicchio is a surprise for the palate. The place is small and rustic but it's what I was looking for. The toilet is quite inconvenient, parking is difficult.

Avevamo poco tempo prima di andare al teatro. Due passi per il bel quartiere e scelta a caso del posto dove cenare. Era presto, eravamo i primi. Bel menù, vario, scritto sul muro. Ottima idea. Ci siamo fatti ingolosire dal "misto" (o qualcosa del genere) di supplì. Veramente sfiziosi e fritti alla perfezione. Poi siamo andati sui secondi. Io ho preso uno spezzatino di manzo con funghi e insalata. Ottimo. Profumato, saporito e abbondante. Il mio amico ha preso un coscio di pollo alla diavola con patate. Anche per lui una bella sorpresa. Carne ben cotta su un letto di patate al forno. E alla fine, un conto molto basso portato da una gentilissima ragazza. Ottima scelta, ottimo inizio di serata.

25/11/2023. qui ho assaporato il miglior cibo di tutta la mia vita,ero arrivato coi miei colleghi e ho fatto un FIGURONE. gustando le leccornie di osteria La Battilonta le mie papille gustative ballavano una maestosa danza. e come un airone che cammina in modo maestoso, i camerieri arrivavano portandoci ogni volta un nuovo ballo per le nostre papille gustative. appena poggiavo il cibo nella mia bocca mi veniva un brivido dall'emozione, tanto che mi veniva da piangere. qui all'osteria La Battilonta ho avuto la migliore esperienza della mia vita.

Il morso dato alla tagliata di manzo mi ha ricordato le vecchie esperienze passate con quel grandissimo manzo del mio ex coniuge... esperienze indimenticabili... grazie Irma

Osteria davvero buona dove mangiare bene a prezzi modici. Ci sono stato a pranzo, apprezzo la possibilità del menù del giorno a 10 euro. Servizio, accoglienza e rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimi, atmosfera casereccia. Ci ritorno volentieri

Buona trattoria a dimensione famigliare Locale dove si mangia bene e di quantità, con portate tipiche romane ma non solo.Il locale è piccolo e sembra di stare in famiglia, nel giorno in cui ci siamo andati faceva molto caldo e l aria condizionata nel locale era quasi assente per cui sarebbe da migliorare la disponibilità ad assecondare i clienti della persona addetta al servizio ai tavoli.Da ritornarci con altro clima

31/03/2024: So given that I will return because in my opinion it has potential that could have been expressed better. However, the house wines are excellent, both white and red. I didn't hear much of the famous fried foods with heavy breading and very little salt, there was very little flavor from the vegetables, fried artichokes ditto Lasagne with artichokes and mushrooms good but within the norm, old fashioned meatballs very good saltimbocca alla Romana good but come on confusing flavors seemed more like scallops. Excellent Puntarelle but microscopic portion. An excellent Amario amaro. Less than 40 euros each with two bottles of wine (and a quarter). In my opinion, it's a five-person place that didn't express much last night. Unfortunately, a very noisy table of 10 people (the place is small but nice) did not help the atmosphere.
