If you pass through Ucria you can't help but stop and eat in this restaurant. You will be welcomed by Sebastiano, a very kind person who, right from the start, manages to put anyone who enters his place at ease. We decided to take the fixed menu but the à la carte menu is also extensive. We started with a selection of appetizers: cured meats, cheeses, vegetables, boiled potatoes, all very fresh and locally sourced. Bread is something inexplicable, the flavor of the past. We continued with boiled sheep (subject to reservation), with tomato sausage, veal rolls, pork chops, Messina rolls, tripe: all cooked according to tradition and delicious. At the end of the meal we were served some very good hazelnut biscuits together with some bitters. We left the restaurant very satisfied both for the excellent value for money and for the pleasant discovery of this warm and welcoming place. We will be back again.
