Gorgeous Izakaya! Nice environment, great food, truly Japanese, friendly and fast service. The cocktails are excellent, small selection of very interesting wines. Don't miss the okonomiyaki

Dinner with friends in a very peculiar place. A varied and original cocktail menu, all including Japanese ingredients. The Japanese cuisine menu is very interesting. Price with cocktails included €65.

Went everytime I was in Milan and wanted to eat Japanese. A right selection of tasty and well cooked dishes. We tried all menu in different years and also most of the drinks they offer. They have a menu dedicated to long drink and cocktails with particular and asiatic ingredients. Atmosphere is Japanese/chic . In the toilets the “music” is the recording of terminals in airports.

Tutto il personale è molto gentile. Sul cibo… bisogna essere preparati: sapevamo che non avremmo mangiato il solito giapponese, ma forse bisogna essere più intenditori di noi per apprezzare i piatti.

13/05/2024: We only tried Chinese cuisine, no sushi or Italian food. The dark wakame with sesame sauce was very good, as well as the kitchen satay skewers. Pak Choi was good, just like the service. There’s a girl which I suppose is from India (will ask her next time) who’s the sweetest waitress. A good location.
12/05/2024: We came here to celebrate and as soon as we entered they made us sit outside (at our request), we had the menu and after choosing and ordering we waited about 10-15 minutes before starting to eat. The food is excellent, perhaps the price is a little high, we spent around €70-80 in total. I highly recommend it, the service is excellent, the employees are kind and quick, the food is good even if it's a little expensive (although that's fair given that we ate plenty).

27/04/2024: Sopravvalutato e comunque alla fine abbastanza caro. Abbiamo ordinato in due per 105€ (cibo avanzato) ma abbiamo preso circa 5 piatti quindi non così tanto. Iniziamo a dire che il cibo è arrivato tutto ribaltato nelle scatole che comunque non aiuta. I pezzi di sushi sono troppo carichi di riso e pieni di salsine (anche i nighiri!) in questo modo è difficile poter valutare e apprezzare la qualità del pesce - anche la tartare di salmone avocado è una montagna di mandorle e philadelphia e poco pesce. Sashimi: bistecche di pesce duro e poco saporito. Mi è capitato di ordinare in all you can eat decisamente superiori.
03/04/2024: Kandoo restaurant is an experience to be lived and relived soon, the quality of the food is really good, starting from the rice, carefully chosen and selected by Alice and Cheng, up to the tastes and flavors of all the foods, even those that are expertly and unexpectedly combined to offer surprising and tasty culinary experiences. We can't wait to return to make our palates happy! The staff is friendly and attentive, highly recommended!
