J Contemponary Japanese Restaurant In Napoli

I'll start by saying that the food is really good, the fried foods cooked very well, the fish very fresh but (because there is a but) a dinner, especially for those who experience it not so much as a moment to feed themselves but as an experience in which everyone is involved the senses, must be accompanied by an environment in which privacy is respected (both by the dining room staff and by the customers present at other tables (a little too close and often too "theatrical" in every sense) the staff is practically always at table with you to ask if everything is okay, to pour water and wine even with the glass almost full, an excess! The sore point in our opinion is the rush, the one that is transmitted from when you enter, inviting you to order everything immediately, because otherwise orders will overlap, until you leave because if you don't do it quickly the table cannot be freed up for the next shift which is understandable but not pleasant given the price, I would invite a change of management in this sense, a few less formalities and some attention of substance in addition.

Highly recommended place with exceptional service. Each dish was perfectly prepared and the prices were pretty normal compared to the quality of the food.

We found this place from the Michelin guide recommendations and the food and cocktails were absolutely amazing! We were only in Naples for 4 nights, but came back a second time because we liked it so much. When you come in, ask for Kimberly. She gave us the best recommendations, and we loved having her as our server. Made our experience so good all around 😊

Every dish was absolutely exceptional and the staff incredibly professional.

An All you can eat disguised as a starred one. Very high prices, justified only by the service and the environment. I didn't have the pleasure of having a drink but the bartenders seemed super expert. At the end of the day? Top staff, nice location and unforgettable Sushi.

Da anni ero incuriosito, ma non amando particolarmente le mode, ho sempre evitato. Però questa volta, coinvolto da amici che avevano organizzato, sono andato e ne è valsa certamente la pena. Non sembra di essere a Napoli, notoriamente una città dove regnano le trattorie o simili, ma a Milano,NYC o Londra: la location, su due piani, e’ molto bella, addirittura la sala per fumatori lo è. Servizio impeccabile, perfetti, tempestivi, gentili e competenti. Il cibo e’ di grande qualità; straordinario il merluzzo ma anche i rolls, le tartare (4) e la tempura di gamberi. Come dolci, si consiglia il “dulce de leche”. Prezzi alti ma ci sta; il pesce (e quindi il sushi) di qualità costa!

Non so se la cucina è un po’ peggiorata o se sono io ad essere diventato più esigente, ma rispetto a qualche anno fa ho avuto una impressione nel complesso assai meno piacevole. La cucina è buona, ma non eccelsa; il prezzo invece è molto salato. La carta dei vini ha qualche bella chicca.
