For anyone who loves to travel and discover things outside of the tourist offer, here is a find. A family ice cream parlor with more than 50 years of experience. Mainly I fell in love with a hazelnut from the Piemonte region. Each taste with its explanation. If you are in Siracusa you cannot miss stopping by Il Mastro Gelataio. Very tasty ice cream, a bit hidden place off the main promenade, but there are places to sit and eat ice cream and drink great coffee, much tastier ice cream than in ice cream parlors in the center and at a better price.

The ice cream there was really tasty and the selection, even in the low season, was overwhelming. Ice cream is available in a paper cup, in a waffle, or in a broiche, a kind of soft roll. Ice cream sundaes like you're used to in Germany, I think you won't find that in Sicily. Taste and selection absolutely recommended, says www.marmormagia.de
