Not even in Rome have I eaten such good carbonara. I thank the owners and staff for their welcome and kindness. I will happily come back :)

Back after a long time and it's always a guarantee for those who want to taste a bit of Roman cuisine... I think it's the only one in the area. The first and second courses are all delicious.

Stopped by on a Thursday evening and the food was really good, freshly made and authentic to Roman cuisine in the heart of Abruzzo. The owner Luigi was very helpful suggesting dishes our party would enjoy and we did enjoy them. I would recommend this restaurant and I will come again, thank you.

Perfect... we had a carbonara worthy of being called such and a Vaccinara type thing with meat that melts in the mouth due to its tenderness and a sauce that is difficult to find around given how good and balanced it was. Right amount if not abundant. They were also very kind and knowing it was my birthday they offered me a cake with a candle.
Value for money rating 10. The prices are normal but more than excellent compared to the quality of the dishes.
Recommended and I would return. If you want to make a good impression and/or a nice Roman style meal you are in the right place.

I had dinner with my partner in this restaurant, who, having Roman origins, wanted a place that cooked exclusively typical Roman cuisine.
We were delighted both with everything we ate and with the owners who are exceptional!
For a couple of hours it was like returning to our Magical Rome!
We will become regular customers.

Locale tipico romanesco, portato avanti da sor Luigi romano di Roma.
Piatti tipici della cucina romanesca. Abbiamo mangiato una trippa con pomodoro e pecorino, sbalorditiva e profumatissima. Carciofi alla giudia e immancabilmente spaghettoni alla gricia, cucinati divinamente, come pochissimi in giro. Buon vino san giovese e bistecca di vitello tbon cotta a puntino. Non poteva mancare il dolce fatto dalla signora Isabella, il tortino al cioccolato. Una divinità. La simpatia dei proprietari è unica , contornata da un conto in linea con il cibo gustato, anzi un po sotto la linea secondo me. Rapporto qualità e costo ottimo.
Continueremo a tornarci ogni qualvolta torneremo a Francavilla.
