Simple, informal but very welcoming environment. Friendly and professional staff. Quality food at more than competitive prices. Complete menu of drinks for €15, with different variations for both first and second courses. 4 of us had 3 different first courses and 4 different second courses. The tagliatelle with meat sauce are excellent, the ones with mushrooms are amazing. Highly recommended.

I went twice and will be back tomorrow too.

Old style restaurant a stone's throw from the Estense Castle and the Palazzo dei Diamanti. It offers traditional Ferrara dishes in a fixed menu formula, with generous portions at an unbeatable quality-price ratio (€25 including first course, second course, side dish, water, wine and coffee). We tried the pumpkin cappellacci with butter and sage, the legendary Ferrarese salama with mashed potatoes and to conclude a slice of tender chocolate cake. Highly recommended for lovers of substance, in a world where gourmet bistros steal the show from certain realities that need to be safeguarded.

Outstanding. Cheap, Real, tasty, home Italian cuisine. If you want to taste how Italians eat at home, not what they serve to tourists this is ideal place.
Great option with a complete menu to taste everything plus get great wine.
Service is great, felt like home.

Pleasant typical culinary experience. We all took dishes that were quite typical of the area. Homemade cuisine, tasty and plentiful but without overdoing it. Excellent location 2 steps from the castle. Advised. A slightly retro atmosphere, and the only sore point is the smoke from the grill which invades the entrance a bit as it is an "open" kitchen. For the rest everything is excellent.

Places like this are disappearing, simplicity in the dishes, in the furnishings and in the ways. All at a price in line with what is shown: little scene, just substance.
We are now surrounded by restaurants that are almost all the same, dishes with 6-7 ingredients (otherwise you're out of date) and exorbitant prices. We hope we will gradually return to the substance of the past but I believe the direction is very different!
P.S.
It's not that I don't like restaurants with elaborate dishes but I would also like the old trattorias/taverns not to disappear.

Ente con musica di sottofondo.
Menù pranzo (vedi foto che pubblico).
Qualità mediocre.
Porzione scarsa di penne (gommose) all'arrabbiata, solo piccanti e poco sapore.
Salsiccia alla griglia non male.
Contorno di patate prezzemolate accettabili.
Vino rosso alla mescita da dimenticare, il bianco frizzante un filino meglio.
Cameriera gentilissima e simpaticissima.
Altra cosa negativa: ho pranzato con una ragnatela al soffitto che oscillava proprio sopra il mio tavolo! (Vedi foto).
Positivo: ho conversato tppiacevolmente con il titolare.

Ambiente carino , semplice , abbastanza curato, personale cordiale, una piccola sala all 'accesso con e una seconda sala grande spaziosa. I servizi igienici sono ok.
I piatti hanno rispecchiato le caratteristiche da menù e di qualità. I prezzi nella media. Se non si hanno grosse esigenze lo consiglio.
