Very good restaurant specializing in fish. I have been many times over the years and the staff has always been friendly and super professional. Excellent food and refined wines.

We had known this restaurant by name for several years, we went one evening almost at home and I must admit that we had a very good time. Fish cooked to perfection, helpful staff and excellent environment. We will definitely be back

Sempre ottima l'accoglienza, la disponibilità e professionalità del servizio. La cucina propone piatti che negli ultimi tempi si presentano sempre più scarsi nel contenuto fino a risultare quasi miseri: peccato perché ne vanificano così anche la buona qualità.

The place was very nice, the waiter who served us was very hasty, I didn't see a smile during the entire service. The food was good, well plated, except for the rib which was nervous and a little tough.

Visitato il locale per cena aziendale, quindi non l'ideale per capire la qualità di un ristorante. I camerieri, tutti impeccabili, Old style, sull'attenti durante l'accoglienza, hanno perso qualche colpo sul termine ma è comprensibile visto la durata dell'evento. Antipasti, in particolare gli affettati, spettacolari. Primi e secondi (posso giudicare quelli di terra solamente) buoni ma un poco sciapi. Il filetto comunque tenerissimo. Buoni i vini.

L’ultima recensione era di qualche anno ed oramai è diventata una “tappa fissa” non solo per le colazioni di lavoro ma anche per le cene ed i pranzi con amici. Un’isola verde a due passi dal centro di Vimercate dove la qualità delle pietanze ed il servizio offerto fanno la differenza. Il “Faro” oramai è uno dei luoghi cult della mia personalissima agenda e lo consiglio senza timore di smentita.

08/02/2024: Super positive experience, good and giant toasts, with a variety of choices... you can also create the toast to your own taste and liking. The peeled chips are also good. Possibility of having cereal, wholemeal and gluten-free toast. Both the girl at the cash desk Maria and the girl at the plate Piera were very kind. Well done...... Fast service, average prices.

05/03/2024: Nice and cosy place. Extremely friendly staff. A little bit noisy when full of guests. Good quality food, well prepared but a little scarce in quantity.
