Il Borghetto In Barano d'ischia

We had dinner at the Borghetto, and the food was extraordinary. I had celiac disease, and they took care of it very well. We had the “coniglio all'ischiana” and they also brought me gluten free pasta with the sauce for free, that I can taste more the sauce. Highly recommended place.

Had our final Ischia dinner. One of, if not the best dining experience we have ever had. Let's start with Mimo - attentive, funny and was happy to ask the chef to make up something special. He ensured our wine glasses were full (home made wine was the best wine I've had). Thanks Mimo! The food was sensational. How one human gets that much flavour out of a handful of mussels in 15 minutes is a mystery to me. The chef after his service, proceeds to come and chat with us. 👌 Thanks for the best meal, chef! Lastly, the atmosphere, the view and tranquility... unreal! To top it off, we met the clever street cat (we named her Olivia) super cute and starving! Absolute cherry on top!

Difficult to get to but worth it.
