I've been dreaming of coming to eat here for years, an enchanting place with breathtaking frescoes, and given the opportunity to celebrate an important event, I decided to try it with a friend last week. Booked a few days before, so it didn't seem like they had large waiting lines, a service that was impeccable straight away, super friendly, very kind, nice, fast, truly noteworthy. What shocked me a little was the combination of some dishes which for this very reason didn't make me fully appreciate the food. We took as starters the guinea fowl with turnip greens and smoked scamorza and the red mullet almost puttanesca style, both not bad, but I preferred the red mullet which however had a bitter taste, due to the capers, which I didn't like at all. As a first course, robiola ravioli with cardamom, shellfish and saffron, and then pumpkin tortelli with seafood stew and nduja, the best ravioli of the tortello, the cream was really good, a shame about the robiola which was acidic and a little bit crunchy. too much flavor. For the second course we only had the barbecue lobster with vanilla cream and hollandaise sauce, good, but I was hoping for something more impressive. For dessert we only took the blond chocolate, consisting of glazed vanilla ice cream with jack daniels reduction, chocolate brownie cubes, salted peanut paste, liquorice crumble and moscovado cream. It was phenomenally good, the best dish of the whole evening which surprised me, truly delicious. Unfortunately, the prices are not within everyone's reach, in fact I came this time and I don't think I'll go back: a starter €30, first course €35, second course €45, dessert €18, 3 waters €18, total €225. Well they are not few, but I would have accepted them more if the portions had been a little larger, because they were really small and then all the dishes were to my liking, but precisely because I was not entirely satisfied with the overall dishes and the prices I doubt I'll go back.

In una sala affrescata e bellissima, una accoglienza molto attenta che fa ricordare tempi passati ma molto piacevole. Cibo stupendo, dalla tradizione alla innovazione, scelta vini incredibile, ottima serata per tutti.
