Hotel Conradi In Chiavenna

26/04/2024: We booked last minute (at 11am on the same day) because the other days the line was busy. But they accommodated us anyway, there were 6 of us with a large dog (Maremmano-Abruzzo shepherd cross). So thank you very much for your availability! Fast service, they brought us the dishes in a very short time, perhaps in less than 15 minutes from ordering. I personally ate the osso buco with polenta and tried the pizzoccheri. I loved them. The meat melted in your mouth, super tasty, and the bone was small so there was a lot of meat, unlike the osso buco I'm used to in Milan, which instead has more bone than meat 😂; while the pizzoccheri were truly delicious, cooked just right and with the right amount of cheese and butter. The portions are generous, I couldn't have dessert because I was bursting! Price: €150 for 9 dishes, with water and house wine.

20/04/2024: Excellent home cooking. Apparently a spartan place but in essence the dishes (pizzoccheri above all) are well made. Compliments to the attentive but never intrusive staff
