When you leave the motorway at 10.30pm hungry and find yourself in nowhere....and then there's him "...can we have a sandwich?...and he...they're already ready!!!" A mirage

Strategically positioned near the Candela toll booth, the kiosk offers sandwiches and focaccias stuffed with fresh, tasty and genuine products. The burrata, turnip greens and capocollo sandwich is literally spectacular. There is no seating inside the small structure (you cannot eat inside), but only outside, under a pergola. There is no table service, but you need to stock up inside and then head towards your chosen table. Highly recommended for a quick but very satisfying lunch break.

A passing kiosk, perhaps, at the beginning. Now it is a corner of genuine food to eat there or to take home, in many packs of different sizes, for every need. We take the time, every time we pass by there, to stop and eat a fresh sandwich or a platter of cheeses and cured meats with crushed potatoes, sitting in the outdoor space which offers a thousand ancient details hanging everywhere. You can see the tradition, you can breathe the authenticity. Marvelous.

Excellent kiosk with typical quality products. Spectacular sandwiches filled with typical local products. Exiting the Candela motorway you can't help but stop. Optimal!

Great sandwiches with lots of variety. They sell cheese, vegetables and some canned delicacies. Highly recommended for a short lunch by the side of the road!

Really nice place to stop for a quick meal, very convenient immediately after the motorway exit. Typical and excellent sandwiches.

Stopped at random at this picturesque place on the side of the road. They have typical foods from Puglia & the panini were great with very nice bread. Our thanks to the kind owner who helped us pick some local food to take home.

An inconspicuous “little shop” right on the street. Which can only shine with quality. What was supposed to be just a small stop for an espresso quickly turned into a small experience. I was immediately greeted by the house's own mascot, a dog. Who sniffed me directly and wanted to get to know me without bias. After entering these little stalls or whatever you want to call it, I saw a selection of various dishes. Meat, cheese, fruits, coffee, local specialties and much more. For little money I equipped myself and took a seat in the beautifully decorative outdoor area. There I enjoyed the view of the beautiful restaurant and sipped my coffee with a cigarette. Hopefully I'll come by here again, I thought to myself as I put out the cigarette. But unfortunately I had to move on. I would have liked to have spent more time there! A little star next to the road. So... it's worth a stop.

I highly recommend it. Wide choice of excellent local products (cheeses, preserves, vegetables in oil) Fantastic focaccia. Perfect service, fast but very kind. We ate on site on the furnished outdoor patio.
