Aperitif dinner with many magnificent flavors and many excellent baked delicacies! Impeccable service for kindness and promptness. A beautiful evening on the Lampedusa promenade with tables at a suitable distance from each other (not piled up in a small space like in 90% of other places) where it is possible to talk without sharing chatter with the entire world. I will definitely be back!!!

Voglia di cannolo pienamente soddisfatta… riempito al momento, ottimo sapore e prezzo onesto. Sul passeggio di via Roma penso che il royal sia meglio di altri locali più blasonati. Quantomeno è storico. Soddisfatti.

Nice place with stalls on the main street of Lampedusa. We had an aperitif with some typical appetizers. Excellent quality and correct prices for the place and the material used. Special emphasis on the owner, a slightly naïve gentleman, a bit of a philosopher, but very delicate and pleasant. He does his job by offering his products, but he doesn't force his hand. And in fact we went back there to have dinner precisely because of its commercially unusual but absolutely effective way.

Place equipped with a large counter and seating mainly outside. Friendly and helpful staff, service not very fast but we were in no hurry. The idea of ​​a Sicilian aperitif is good where they bring rotisserie platters and mini portions of pasta together with the cocktail for €15.

The premise is on the gentleman who takes the questions and waits at the entrance: exquisite. My girlfriend and I had an aperitif, the food was truly more than excellent and plentiful. (Drinking was there too). In the end it was practically a dinner, paid less than what we had previously spent in the various restaurants in Lampedusa and with the plus of having tasted many different things. While we were sitting we read the various reviews, many negative on the price. We don't agree with this at all, to us they seemed super in line with the prices of the rest of the island. Advised!

Molto scenografico ma solo quello! Riempiono i cannoli al momento...ma sono una gran delusione così come la pasta di mandorle.

25/09/2023: L'unica cosa utile di questo locale è la posizione centrale, poi con un servizio purtroppo lento e pasticcione ed un menu limitato la serata si è trascinata più del dovuto. Prezzo finale in linea con gli altri posti che servono pesce a Lampedusa.
08/09/2023: La prima cosa che attira la nostra attenzione è la lavagna esposta all’ingresso del ristorante con la “filosofia del Gallo”. Ci piace questa idea di ristorazione e decidiamo di prendere posto. Sarà un “colpo di fulmine”. il personale è di una cortesia, di una educazione e di una professionalità che non è facile da incontrare. Tra le pietanze che ci sentiamo di consigliare c’è certamente la eccellente grigliata mista di pesce da accompagnarsi ad un bel calice di vino bianco fresco e per dessert il loro favoloso semifreddo alle mandorle. Ci siamo trovati veramente bene da subito e ci siamo tornati più volte. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

01/04/2024: Very good everything. I took just one pizza and just one caponata for two people and couldn't finish it all. (But we took it home). Really good, plentiful and excellent.
30/03/2024: Quiet little place, welcoming on the side of the fireplace... If lit, the rest of the room is a little chilly, good food, excellent pizza, I highly recommend!!!
