excellent restaurant...homemade cooking.....honest prices....try the pappardelle with wild boar! excellent grilled meat......dishes with truffles. Excellent breakfasts with fresh pastries, well-spaced outdoor tables and in an excellent position in the sun from the early hours of the morning. Large and convenient parking for cars and groups of motorcyclists. Saturday and Sunday you can book the fabulous lasagna... to take away!! Spritz 3 euros😁

Typical Tuscan dinner just outside San Miniato. Very rustic place, friendly and kind staff. Very good, quality Sino with affordable prices.

Unfortunately this restaurant goes unnoticed. Because with a little more attention to the exterior it could attract more people. If they hadn't recommended it to us in the next town we wouldn't even have seen it because it deserves it.

07/04/2024: Just Fantastic You are always happy to enjoy a meal in the basement restaurant of this hotel. The wine selection is from another world. It is said that this Sunday is the first of the year to have lunch outdoors on the terrace overlooking Pisa
08/03/2024: Having stayed in the hotel we also decided to try the cuisine, a restaurant which is also present in the Michelin guide, what can I say starting from the entree to the dessert it was all delicious, fresh products and raw materials treated with respect, the location is very welcoming , the trained and friendly staff and the prices are absolutely accessible. As for the 5-star hotel, the same, as it is a historic building artfully restored (conservative restoration) therefore everything has remained substantially as it was, at the reception they are very helpful, and the rooms are spacious and clean, therefore QuattroGigli is highly recommended and I hope to return soon.

La Melatina

18/05/2024: Service et accueil,très agréables. Les tapas sont copieux et délicieux, les pizzas grandes et savoureuses. Les spritz sont à 5€. Je recommande vivement. Pensez à réserver car très fréquenté.
31/12/2023: Nette rustikale Atmosphäre. Essen typisch toskanisch und sehr gut. Vor 30 Jahren im "La Melatina" (150 meter weiter oben) war's natürlich eine ganz andere Qualität, als Vasco Bartolini gekocht hat. Aber seit das "Nuova Melatina" die alte Tradition weiterführt, freue ich mich, hier wieder die alten Gerichte traditionell genießen zu können. Auch in zukunft eine interessante Option. Alles gute & bleibt bei den toskanischen Originalen!
