Gelatisù In Nicolosi

Ice cream shop in front of the central square of Nicolosi. There is a huge choice of flavors and they also make vegan ice cream. In the summer period the queue often reaches outside the restaurant, however, in my opinion, ice cream is overrated. It's good, but not great enough to warrant queuing. I also have the feeling that there is no consistency from a qualitative point of view, as if the same flavors taken one day rather than another would be better or less good. Over time I have also tried other desserts and some are better than others. I once tried a crepes with Nutella which was terrible. The dough was chewier than chewing gum. A plus point in my opinion is the automatic cash register so the clerk doesn't have to touch money before or after serving the customer and always gives the right change

Good and friendly staff. They don't have much assortment for lactose-free flavors, since there was only one flavor, but it's still good. I took the setteveli and fiordilatte flavors and they were really good, same thing for the dark chocolate ice cream (the only one without lactose). Modest prices, worth trying.

I was invited to go out, and they took me to this fabulous ice cream shop. I ate an ice cream which was good and cheap. Very good. Indescribable. You have to try it. Optimal. I recommend at least trying it to believe.

It's not the first time I've tried this ice cream shop, but the first review. In the past I was surprised by the goodness of some flavors, but today I was a little disappointed by the pistachio which didn't taste like, and by the Nicolosi flavor, which I couldn't understand what it tasted like. The black cherry brittle is good. There are many flavors and the prices are right. Another flaw, my niece simply wanted to wash her hands and replied that there is no bathroom.
