Gelateria La Romana - Verona In Verona

Good, but not as amazing as I expected based on reviews. Decent flavor, but seems like more hype than it deserves. I have definitely had better gelato. Good atmosphere and appreciated the indoor seating though.

An exquisite taste adventure! I went to Gelateria La Romana with my family on a Friday evening for a little ice cream. We were immediately greeted by a very smiling and friendly employee who, moreover, spoke French very well. Hesitating between several flavors, she kindly offered us a small spoonful of different flavors, which we appreciated. The salted pistachio was excellent! However, my heart had already been taken by the salted caramel pecan and chocolate fudge. So I set my sights on these 2 perfumes, which I took in a small cone. I was already very excited to taste these wonders but when the employee offered to fill the bottom of my cone with melted gianduja chocolate, I was even more in heaven. My eyes sparkled at the enormous ice cream the waitress handed me. I was like a child. I tried it, and I was absolutely not disappointed with my choice. The 2 flavors mixed divinely well, the tastes were present and delicious, and the end of the cone filled with this melted gianduja chocolate was the apotheosis. In short, stop by this fantastic gelateria if you are passing through Verona!

always excellent ice cream. Open until late, it is an obligatory stop after a volleyball match in Verona.... And also with family... Even the daughter and her mother are crazy about it 😁

Always busy, sometimes with even long queues to get an ice cream, La Romana has become in just few years probably the most popular ice cream place in Verona. Deservedly so, I'd say, as the ice cream quality is consistently good, particularly for the cones, as the cakes are good but less impressive, and the choice of flavours ample enough. Worth trying it, particularly during the less busy moments of the day!

The best gelato (ice cream) in my live! Absolutely love it! So rich unique flavours. The staff was helpful mainly Claire was amazing.

Well, I had reviewed the ice cream shop some time ago and, in my very personal opinion, I had not found the ice cream to my liking. I am pleased to note that it has improved a lot, my friends and I have tried various flavors and we were fully satisfied. The cream is excellent and the location is really pleasant. Keep it up.

Insane ice cream. Was absolutely, hands down the best ice cream I’ve ever had. My mom—who doesn’t like ice cream went for seconds, to say the least this place is amazing and a must visit. The prices are also cheap, for an ice cream cone with 2 scoops and chocolate inside we paid 3.5 eur.
