Review for celiacs (no gluten) I recently discovered this restaurant and I was very enthusiastic about it. You can try Frico in 29 different ways, obviously including the classic one. The one with bacon is very good and I recommend it. Also available as a gluten-free second course and a first course: rice crepes. Buckwheat maltagliati, on the other hand, contain gluten and therefore cannot be ordered. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable about gluten-free. While chatting I discovered that they have a relative with celiac disease.

If you like frica, this is the place. They have a menu of over 20 different frica (sp.?)They also have a daily menu with local specialties. We will come again!

Trattoria where you can eat various types of frico and refined beef (limousine). Very kind staff and owner, Renzo, special! Sometimes you have to know how to wait, because it's crowded!

We had been looking for Frico for three days and here we found it. The assortment of types of frico suggests we return often, even if for us it's not right next door. However, we ate and drank beautifully, welcomed and pampered by very kind and helpful staff. The quiet room is another added value for those who love to chat at the table.

Rustic and easy-going place, don't expect a Milanese lounge, we are in Friûl. Really excellent frico with a super crust, always served with polenta. Friendly and helpful staff, they even portioned the dish for us so we could taste each other's dishes, which is why I recommend coming with more than 4 people. Very honest price for water, half a liter of wine, a first course for two and two fricos! Bitter offered at the end!

Strassoldo è unica. Se poi ci si abbina anche un frico delizioso, il gioco è fatto e il Friuli ci pervade completamente. Che belli i posti come al Cavallino, quanto li amo. 🏠 LOCALE | una trattoria nel vero senso della parola. Poche sovrastrutture, ambiente rustico e un clima di casa e calore. Gli elementi appesi qua e là richiamano un passato e un presente connessi costantemente. Una gioia per gli occhi 🚶‍♂ PERSONALE | i proprietari e la cameriera non sono di moltissime parole, ma fanno il loro in modo impeccabile curando tutti i clienti e prendendosi il tempo necessario per tutto. Non c'è fretta e va bene così 👨‍🍳 CUCINA | noi abbiamo preso la specialità della casa ovvero il frico. Fatto al momento, non è uno dei miei piatti preferiti ma questo l'ho trovato perfetto. Ingredienti di prima qualità e un'attesa che ne è valsa la pena. Speciale 💶 CONTO | siamo in una trattoria? Allora i prezzi sono da trattoria. Per 2 piatti di frico con polenta, 1/4 di vino, acqua e due caffè abbiamo speso circa 15€ a testa. Che meraviglia.

Ambiente molto informale. La sala all’ingresso in questo periodo non è caldissimo soprattutto se si sta vicini alla porta. Il menù è un inno al Friuli quello vero. Preso il cotechino con le rape all’aceto e poi un frico con erba cipollina e pancetta. Quest’ultimo molto buono ma la dose è per due. Accompagnato il tutto con una buona birra chiara del Sauris caffè offerto. Rapporto q/p al top!
