Gustatevi una bella pizza e chiudete gli occhi…i profumi e i sapori vi faranno sentire al Sud…ed è un piacere assoluto!!!

Our first night in Mestre and restaurant recommended by nearby hotel. Quite busy but able to get a table for two. Extensive pizza menu made it difficult to chose. The Ripieno calzone was quite large and full of ricotta cheese and salami thus very filling. The Casertana for my wife was also large and a bit dry round the edges. Unable to eat all the food thus would have been better off to share. With two beers a bottle of water and service charge it cost us £35 so not that cheap.

La Piadineria

23/04/2024: Piadina stuffed in various flavors, with various types of bread (classic, wholemeal or kamut), you can also choose to have the piadina rolled or simply folded. Precise service, courteous staff. If you get a savory piadina with only €1 you can order a mini Nutella piadina (lightly stuffed). A practical solution is to put the piadina in a small bag to prevent liquids from escaping from underneath. Overall good but not very good.
22/03/2024: I always get the usual piadina (cotto and mozzarella), but they always make it so well that I never get tired of it!!!
