We came with the intention of eating pizza, accidentally entered this restaurant and were literally delighted. The service is phenomenal, the pizza is very tasty and juicy. Recommendation☝️

Mid-week lunch, choosing the trattoria menu. For a total of 15 euros each we had a generous first course of penne with courgettes and provola, a second course of a delicious beef burger and a side dish of pan-fried peppers with Taggiasca olives. Water, bread and cover charge included. We'll be back. The only flaw, a waitress with long hair too close to the cutlery container on the counter.

Perfectly correct pizza, nice thin dough, airy crust, eggplant on pizza is a novelty for me, which went perfectly with pelate, mozzarella and pesto. Moreover, the pizzeria is in the very center, next to the Grand Canal, near the Ponte Rosso bridge, so if you eat in the garden, you will also enjoy a beautiful view of the city😉

La pizza è super-napolitan-style ed anche il babà sa il fatto suo. Con queste due portate e un acqua grande si sta sui 20 Euro (quindi non proprio economicissimo). Rispetto al servizio: sarebbe meglio se cucina e pizze si coordinassero così da far arrivare insieme le pietanze al tavolo. Locale ampio e moderno.

Comenzamos la cena con el mejor plato de la misma, la Pizza Margherita di Bufala DOP. Siempre que acudo a un restaurante de pizzas napolitanas pido mi pizza favorita y la que considero que todo el mundo debe pedir en este tipo de restaurantes, la Pizza Margherita. Además, en este caso vi que tenían una versión premium que era especialidad del establecimiento y no me pude resistir a pedirla. En este caso la pizza contaba con una masa correcta, que no estaba ni mucho menos mala, pero que se queda lejos de otras pizzas napolitanas que he degustado. Sin embargo, el queso mozzarella di bufala campana DOP me gustó mucho y el tomate también me pareció correcto. Quizás hubiera agradecido que el queso grana padano stargionato DOP hubiera tenido más potencia, así como el aceite una mayor presencia y más cantidad de albahaca. Pero es una buena pizza margherita, que se queda lejos de otras, pero a la que le voy a otorgar una correcta puntuación de... Proseguimos la degustación con la Pizza Mortazza al Pistacchio. Esta pizza con base de queso mozzarella me dejó un tanto indiferente. No se puede decir que estuviera mala, pero la mortadella IGP Bologna me dejó bastante sin más y la crema de pistacho carecía de la potencia esperada. No está mala, pero no es una pizza que se vaya a quedar en tu memoria. Sobre la masa poco que decir con respecto a la anterior, así que considero que la puntuación debe ser de... Finalizamos la cena con la pizza que menos fue de mi agrado, la Pizza Gricia. Esta pizza estaba compuesta por queso mozzarella fior di latte di Agerola, guanciale amatriciano, pecorino, queso grana padano stargionato DOP, basilico y aceite de oliva italiano. En este caso la masa, que contaba con un cornicione (borde de la pizza) bastante poco elevado, estaba algo hecha de más. Asimismo, el queso mozzarella me pareció aceptable, pero no me entusiasmó tanto como el mozzarella utilizado en la pizza margherita. No obstante, el punto que menos me gustó fue que el guanciale estaba excesivamente salado. Por lo que la máxima puntuación que le puedo dar es un... Por último, si queréis saber la puntuación de cada plato y una valoración final con su respectiva puntuación, os animo a que os paséis por mi blog de gastronomía y viajes.

17/03/2024: I have been here 4 times to eat meat. the first 3 times a piece of tomahawk, then I tried the rib-eye. The first time the tomahawk was perfect, both in terms of cooking as requested and in consistency. The second time the tomahawk was particularly fatty, while cooking as requested was fine. The third time the tomahawk was perfect in terms of consistency, while the cooking as requested was not. (since it is served on a marble or granite slab, heated to boiling hot, I "cooked" it as I wanted). The fourth time I tried the rib, it was fine in terms of cooking and also in terms of consistency, unfortunately I was expecting a tall and more compact rib, while this one was short and wide. I leave out the fried or pan-fried potatoes which were good. The service is excellent, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Between the wine and the beers, I recommend the beers on tap, because the house wine isn't that great. Since the price per kilo of meat is not cheap, 65 euros per kilo as per the menu, I first expected the staff to show you the piece of meat up close (in many places they bring it to the table for the customer to see) before cooking it, secondly, but not least, the quality of the piece, it is not tolerable that there is almost half the fat in a tomahawk, since here we are talking about 65 euros per kilo. I preferred to try this place several times rather than immediately discredit it. I would happily go back but not under these conditions, given that I didn't spend much.
