Fraiese In Bologna

Nice establishment with delicious cuisine. Acceptable prices. The pizza is delicious, there is a large selection. Baked in a wood fired oven. Delicious and filling spaghetti carbonara. Service is ok. The downside is the fact that there is a tip of +2.5 € per person. It is not written anywhere and no one talks about it. They just add it to the total check.

My family and I have been frequenting this pizza restaurant for 30 years. Always friendly, wide choice of first and second courses, both meat and fish, and everything always up to par. The pizza is also excellent. The place is always very warm in winter and never too cool in summer, with welcoming furnishings and always quick and precise service. The quality/price ratio is always excellent, considering the quality of the cuisine and the service. For us it is always a security.

This evening was a fantastic food experience! But first things first. The restaurant looks like an ordinary place but is way more than it looks. I came here early evening, took a seat and was greeted by an elderly and friendly waiter. Later on more people arrived and also constantly others who ordered something as a takeaway. After some time I did choose to have some Antipasti and a Pizza, together with some water and wine. The Antipasti was already good but what took me by surprise was the Pizza. I don’t know if I ever had a better one. The base had a super consistency, not too soft and not too crispy. The tomato sauce and the cheese made up a perfect team and the topping (Pancetta) added a great final taste. This was total harmony. After the meal I had a „caffè corretto“ - it was the best possible finish to get. I wish I could eat so good every day. Grazie mille a tutti! Addendum: I came here again the evening before I was leaving Bologna. Just as a reminder - the pizza is really really good! And thank you for the Limoncello. :)

When I come to Bologna on a trip I often eat at this place. My palate has been delighted with the delicacies of this restaurant for more than 20 years now. Excellent pizzas and fish dishes.

We were looking for a local as we were traveling and hungry and they recommended this place. Nice place. Quick service but the preparation of the pizza was not good

A dicembre siamo stati per tre giorni a Bologna. In albergo ci hanno consigliato di cenare al ristorante Fraiese. Ottimo consiglio. Il posto è carino, pulito e soprattutto si mangia bene. Il personale oltre che molto cordiale è anche rapido ed efficiente. Noi ci abbiamo cenato per due sere e lo consigliamo vivamente. Se torniamo a Bologna di sicuro torneremo a mangiare da loro. I prezzi sono nella norma.

Friendly restaurant full of locals. We had a super fresh green and a tomato salad to start and pizzas. The pizzas were amazing and we are well travelled. We tried to return tonight to eat something else from their menu but they are closed on a Monday.
