E*tra Vergine Oleoteca In Spello

Interesting dishes with digressions on tradition that don't displease, this is the review from a year ago. We returned full of expectations and appetite, we found a distracted service and an unlikely cuisine (too many times I heard the microwave alarm ringing... But were they pre-cooked?)

Delicious text cake and spritz. Friendly staff, location with a modern design and super suggestive outdoor tables in the wonderful alleys of Spello.

Very nice place in the center of Spello, we decided to stop for an aperitif enticed by the menu with many products based on extra virgin olive oil, from drinks to food, all really good... recommended

Very special experience. Truly excellent oil. However, the prices are very high compared to the quantity of the portions; a bit of a shame. Not to be missed if you are an oil lover.

Nice place in a great location at a fair price

Very nice place in the center of Spello, excellent torte al testo with sausage and grapes. Very kind staff: I had forgotten a hat and they offered to send it home.

Went here for a pre-dinner snack. The environment is very welcoming and modern. The service is thoughtful and always attentive. The dishes are quality and refined, as are the wine and oil on display. The bathroom is very small but clean and almost "at home". The only area for personal improvement is the prices, which in my opinion are expensive, but it is also true that it is in the city center and the environment is refined and stylish.

Siamo stati qui per uno spuntino pre-cena. L’ambiente è molto accogliente e moderno. Il servizio è premuroso e sempre attento. Le pietanze sono di qualità e ricercate, così come anche il vino e l’olio in esposizione. Il bagno molto piccolo ma pulito e quasi “di casa”. Unica area di miglioramento a titolo personale i prezzi a mio dire costosi, ma è anche vero che si è in centro città e l’ambiente è ricercato e stiloso.

Ci si deve adattare per sedersi perché lo spazio è poco e quindi ci hanno fatto sedere ad un tavolone accanto ad altra gente, ma per il resto il cibo è gustoso ed il personale molto cordiale e molto preparato.

Nice place along one of the main streets of the city, where you are welcomed with great friendliness by the talented owner. The basic products offered are excellent, and this can be seen in the cheese platters, which are absolutely worth trying, and in the oils offered, as well as in the delicious focaccia. The cuisine remains a bit on the surface, without too many flashes, and with some naiveties (too much cheese on the lentil soup) that could be avoided, in light of the quality of the ingredients. Medium-high prices, compared to the regional average.
