Essenziale In Firenze

Whoever greeted us made us feel welcome. The menu was illustrated in great detail with the particularities of the selection of products. Fast and precise service. The tasting proposals with the possibility of eating several dishes together stimulate sharing and conviviality. Parking is a drama, but in the center of Florence it's the same for all the places, just park a little further away and take a walk.

So let's start by saying that booking from the site and what we found were not the same thing. From the website we expected a menu at 28 Euros each (drinks not included) and instead we received a very normal menu (ending up paying 45 Euros each). Maybe it would be appropriate to clarify the differences between the menus a little better on the site. The falafel that was part of the shared appetizers was terrible, very dry and very hard (but the kind that couldn't be cut with a knife). Point in favor of the potato rostí with pear and gorgonzola and the butter and anchovies crouton. The focaccia with meat sauce was just enough for 4 people... Then I had the terrible idea of ​​getting the 'nachos lasagne', really terrible guys, as well as being extremely spicy (and I don't remember seeing it on the menu, but I admit I might have missed it...). The dessert, chocolate cake was burnt underneath, my friend and I both work in events and we would NEVER have a dessert like that come out! The bottom part was actually burned. Two white wines and two reds, good idea of ​​the production chain but very little choice. For the amount spent I have to say that no, we will never go back and we won't even recommend it. The staff was really nice though :)

The restaurant is located in a large room but is furnished with taste and friendliness. The tables are well spaced and allows for privacy that is not a given in current restaurants. The staff is helpful and manages to convey their passion by presenting each dish. The menu is varied and mainly vegetarian with some gems such as wild boar ribs. The raw materials are top quality and cooked divinely. The dishes have clearly distinguishable flavors and are all excellent. Excellent value for money. Unmissable.

Exquisite contemporary Italian cuisine. We chose the Fast&Casual option, which meant a la carte dining and our waiter was incredibly helpful in recommending dishes and which order we should have them. One of our best food experiences in Florence.
