We ate very well in this family-run restaurant that we discovered by pure chance. Very clean and nice place, we returned several times during our stay in Rome and always had a good time. The first courses are exquisite, as are the desserts, in particular the grandmother's cake and the chocolate cake. We hope to return soon

Very simple place with friendly staff, especially Walter who served us. Rather extensive menu with both classic Roman cuisine and meat, fish and low-priced pizza. The focaccia with which we accompanied the mussels and clams souté was good and both the courgette flowers and the Ascoli olives were well fried. The baked sea bream and sea bass are delicate, the potatoes are average and the Roman artichoke is a little too oily. The berry cake is very delicious. Average prices and some difficulty finding parking. I was there 4 years ago and, compared to now, I found it improved. The venue has several rooms between the ground floor and the basement. From the underground floor, eight of us ordered mixed fried foods which were all in all good (courgette flowers €1, supplì €1 and cod fillets €3); the tomato bruschettas were decent (€2 each - we ordered one and 4 arrived). The cured meats and cheeses are normal (€9). The medium-small pizzas (€8-9) are almost inedible. Some remained on the plate almost intact. None of them were well cooked, they were pale, short and excessively crunchy, practically a cross between pane carasau, azimo and piadine. The flour was clearly visible on one and, by cutting them into wedges, it was clear that the electric oven had left them semi-raw. Including water, beers on tap and covered about fifteen euros each. Service a little distracted.

Abbiamo cenato qui il primo dell'anno. Ambiente abbastanza curato, cucina tradizionale e ben fatta, servizio efficiente e tanta cordialità.

30/04/2024: From Costantino: A dive into the culinary tradition in Bellegra Hidden among the picturesque hills of Bellegra, the "Da Costantino" restaurant is a real jewel for lovers of genuine cuisine and tradition. Atmosphere of times gone by, a wood-fired oven that releases heady aromas and a warm welcome like a family hug: Da Costantino is not just a restaurant, it is an experience that conquers hearts and palates. From the first step, you feel surrounded by a magical atmosphere. The beating heart of the place is the wood-fired oven, powered with passion and skill by the pizza chefs, who churn out crispy, golden pizzas, cooked to perfection. But the real star of Costantino is its cuisine directed by the tireless Caterina, an authentic expression of the local culinary tradition. The dishes, prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients, are a riot of genuine and familiar flavours. From delicious appetizers to rich and tasty first courses, from succulent meat main courses to tasty side dishes, each course is a hymn to simplicity and goodness. Obviously, there is no shortage of house specialties, such as homemade pasta seasoned with typical sauces and pizza, prepared with love and cooked in a wood-fired oven. Every bite is an explosion of taste that conquers the senses, transporting you on a culinary journey through the flavors of the past. And to finish on a high note, a selection of homemade desserts, such as grandma's tart or classic tiramisu, which will delight even the most demanding palates. All accompanied by a wide choice of local wines, expertly recommended by the dining room staff, always kind and attentive to customer needs. Da Costantino is not just a restaurant, it is a place where you can rediscover the flavors of home, where time stops and you let yourself be pampered by authenticity and tradition. An unmissable experience for all those looking for an authentic and special place, where good food is an art to be savored slowly. What I liked most: • The welcoming atmosphere • The wood-fired oven and the delicious pizzas • Traditional dishes cooked with fresh ingredients • The kind and attentive service • Homemade desserts • Excellent value for money I highly recommend Da Costantino to anyone looking for an authentic and tradition-rich culinary experience, in a familiar and welcoming environment.

Prato di Sopra

11/03/2024: Simple but well-kept place. The dishes are well presented and of excellent quality. Absolutely worth trying even for those who are skeptical about vegetarian cuisine... who will change their minds.
10/03/2024: Everything was excellent, service, hospitality, venue, music and above all food both in presentation, care and taste. In particular 10+ for the artichoke crepe, congratulations!!
