The tavern is located at the top of Sant'Ilario, excellent sea view before entering the tavern. Parking is easily found along the street for free. Very clean tavern, shame about the misleading step towards the bathroom. Good service, shame about the slightly long waiting times. Recommended tavern for eating fish.

Exceptional!
Suggestive location above Nervi, easily accessible (a little less parking) but totally worth it.
Despite the very full place, fairly quick service and courteous and polite staff.
Very high quality of food, very generous portions and correct price overall.
The only flaw is not being able to try the lobster as a starter, which is why I will definitely be back

I have been there several times, recently renovated informal environment, courteous, kind and helpful staff in the room. Excellent cuisine, generous portions, fresh fish and excellent quality in general. It's my go-to place for a nice, relaxing dinner.

Very good as always though, it has lost something over the years, the flavor of the dishes are not like those of the past, I don't know if they take less time, they pass by and there is another chef, the first time I ate in this restaurant the flavor of the dishes was a unique thing, now ordering the same things I feel that the pasta and the fish are detached, and a criticism however in a good way.

After a few months of no longer being able to go here to eat, last night we made it. We found the place renovated, but always very welcoming, good food, right quantity of dishes and also the owners always very hospitable and kind!!! I suggest it...

I didn't expect it! A top quality piece of Sardinia in Genoa. Spaghetti with bottarga, top appetizer, huge grilled fish and incredible pudding. To remember and return!

We went to "Carmelo" for the first time, we ate excellent fresh fish, from excellent appetizers to first courses, not to mention the fried food...sublime, we will definitely be back.

se vuoi mangiare del pesce fresco e cucinato in maniera deliziosa questo e' il posto giusto.
ormai sono anni che ci vado, e non mi ha mai deluso.
piatti squisiti che non stufano mai.
tra i miei piatti preferiti astice alla carmelo - le crudite di pesce e il tiramisu'

Locale piccolo. Ma accogliente, vista mozzafiato. Personale gentile, sono anni che torno qui per le festività, per la comunione, per altre ricorrenze e per una mangiata tra amici o colleghi, e mi trovo sempre molto bene. Pesce fresco e selezionato, ottima scelta di vini. Piatti abbondanti. Complimenti allo chef.
