Professionalism and love for the products of one's territory can only lead to excellent wines; after having tasted and appreciated them for the first time in a well-known restaurant in Ferrara (as per the photo) we couldn't help but go to the cellar where we were welcomed with great kindness and helpfulness.

Excellent cellar. I love their Fortana both the still and sparkling versions. Their balsamic vinegar is also very good! If you are in the area it is worth a stop!

Abbiamo assaggiato i vini e comperati alcuni, a noi sono piaciuti, ritorneremo la prossima volta che verremo in zona.

Very pleasant wine tasting experience. Our host Federica (we met Vittorio at the end) was charming and knowledgeable, presenting the Vini delle Sabbie with plenty of interesting details about the wines themselves as well as the historical framework of the area. We tried some of them, with a sample of local cold cuts and cheese. It is probably possible to organise a visit of the vineyard and of the cellar, but it was a very hot day and we only did the wine tasting in the store. We will go back to try and get some more, once our stock is depleted.
