Club 1799 In Acquaviva delle fonti

Very nice and welcoming place, located in the historic center of Acquaviva and characterized by beautiful barrel vaults. We ate very well, accompanied in our choice by kind, helpful and professional staff. I consumed an exquisite and abundant scottona tartare with capers, cucumbers, mustard grains and sweet and sour vegetables and a tasty veal cheek braised in primitivo. The other diners also ordered the pork fillet, which was very good, the delicious pork bombette, the veal meatballs with canestrato fondue in datterini sauce and the porcini mushroom pie. The wine, a local primitive rosé (PIRòK), was also very pleasant. I closed the lunch with a Bronte pistachio semifreddo, while the others also consumed the chef's decomposed cheesecake with almond crumble and fig vincotto. The place is worth a visit!
