We chose on the advice of locals. We booked brodetto. The service, specifically Mario, was excellent and "forced" us to only take the broth.
Fair and honest advice. The brodetto was not only an exceptional dish, but also a particular ritual wanted by Mario. The course arrived in a huge earthenware tray. The broth is still boiling. So despite the abundance of fish we ate it all hot.
Then the surprise, they collected the tray and cooked us in the sauce, some hats, exceptional.
All good quality.
Price €132 with two glasses of wine and 2 desserts.
An advice
The broth (100€) for 2 can easily be for 4 and therefore the costs are amortized

In viaggio verso il Salento il 26 dicembre pomeriggio cercavamo sul web un ristorante aperto per cena e abbiamo trovato a Vasto il ristorante Cibomatto, il proprietario al telefono ci ha chiesto se avremmo voluto il brodetto e al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato questo piatto meraviglioso, pesce fresco e pomodoro gustosissimo. Una volta finito il pesce ci hanno cucinato la pasta nel sugo rimasto, una vera goduria. Il piatto sarebbe bastato per almeno quattro persone, ma non ci siamo fatti pregare a finire tutto…

Consigliato da un amico del posto, mai consiglio di più azzeccato!! Personale cordialissimo e cibo fantastico, un connubio perfetto. Il Brodetto FAVOLOSO !! E da ultimo spaghettini cotti nel sugo rimasto, TOP !! Lo consiglio a chiunque voglia mangiare del pesce ottimo a Vasto.

Wunderbare gemischte Fisch- und Meeresfrüchte-Platte, die vom sehr betagtem Kellner (Restaurantchef?) auf unsere Teller verteilt wurden. Eine sehr schöne Zelebration.
Und als der Fisch leer war, wurden im verbleibenden Sud noch Spaghetti gekocht, die natürlich dadurch ein sehr intensives Aroma bekamen.

Siamo capitati in questo ristorante per caso dopo una mattinata in marina. E la fortuna ci ha premiato con piatti squisiti e staff cortese e gioviale. Il prezzo ? Che dire un antipasto, due primi, due calici di vino 30 euro a persona.
P.S. il proprietario ci ha fatto uno sconto del 10% nonostante fossimo dei turisti sconosciuti di passaggio.
P.S.S. posti del genere ormai si vedono con il lumicino.
