Castello a Mare In Palermo

Una esperienza discutibile. Arrivati al ristorante prenotato precedentemente, all’ingresso ci accoglie uno stuart con un cappotto di dubbio gusto che con modi sgarbati ci fa aspettare fuori, sebbene ci fossero con noi delle signore e nonostante la possibilità di attesa dentro al locale. Successivamente dopo una lunga e fastidiosa attesa al freddo e dopo retiretati richieste finalmente ci fanno accomodare. Nella sala ristorante posta al primo piano regnava una confusione da inferno dantesco, con un forte vocio e tavoli stretti come in una mensa aziendale. Condiderata la bella location, si è dimostrato ben lontano dalle nostre aspettative. Il servizio è stato imbarazzante vista la difficoltà di contattare i camerieri. Le pietanze sono state interessanti ma decisamente care anche per là quantità che non permetteva di gustarle al meglio. Il vocio continuava ad essere abbastanza alto accompagnato anche da una musica di fondo ad alto volume che non permetteva di potere scambiare neanche una parola fra noi commensali. Un ristorante sicuramente con molto punti di miglioramento.

Speaking of meat, it's not a good feeling not to know precisely or even roughly what you're buying. They could at least warn you about the approximate weight of the slice you buy. It has happened to me that in other places people tell me...our cuts range from... to...Many restaurants are adopting the policy of having steaks already cut and weighed by the supplier, and vacuum-packed individually, so that the weight is predefined and certain. Also because in the restaurant in question not even the scenic effect of the whole sirloin cut in front of the customer is offered. It's not pleasant to see slices weighing over 1kg arrive for kids who can barely eat a pound, costing over €100 each. Then, the dishes that for some reason are returned, due to a mistake and certainly not due to the simple whim of the customer, should not be included in the account.

Ottima location, cibo eccellente, personale affabile e molto professionale e prezzi adeguati .... consigliatissimo.

Ieri sera ho avuto il piacere di gustare dei piatti prelibati,unici, inebrianti sia per la vista quanto per il palato.Tutto accompagnato da un servizio eccellente e dalla simpatia dello chef Giunta ,al quale rinnovo i miei complimenti

Serata piacevole e atmosfera romantica. Personale attento e competente. Cibo ottimo. Consigliato per trascorrere una serata lieta insieme a parenti e amici.

Conosco il ristorante Castello A Mare di Natale Giunta da tempo e per la costante qualità che ho sempre trovato l’ho scelto come location per le mie Nozze. Mi ha stupito ancora di più, tutto curato nei minimi dettagli, piatti buonissimi, serviti tutti contemporaneamente, ambiente elegante e caloroso. Ho ricevuto i complimenti da tutti i miei ospiti, per il cibo, per la location e per il servizio. Grazie a tutto lo staff e grazie a Natale Giunta. In una sola parola: Perfetti.

Il peut être au guide Michelin pour cette année aussi car c était très bon sur place et le service géniale

This is a lovely restaurant which is so much better than it looks at a distance. The fish tasting menu is beautiful & very tasty with some unusual dishes. The wine pairing was also excellent again with some unique & very delicious wines. The service is generally good for most of the evening but as the restaurant got more busy the staff were less available.
