Caramel Cafe si trova sotto i portici lato palazzo Moroni di piazza delle Erbe. Ci siamo fermati qui per un aperitivo di lavoro e abbiamo preso un classico spritz che è stato accompagnato solo da un piattino di patatine. Servizio non velocissimo e abbiamo dovuto chiedere lo scontrino ma il prezzo era onesto. Vista la location basterebbe poco per migliorare ma è comunque un bar nella norma.

Excellent location on Piazza Delle Erbe, historic square. Stopped for a lunchtime break. Aperol spritz was first class but the star was the cheese and meat platter. Ordered one to share between two and received a huge platter of 4 meats and 3 cheeses with bread. All were delicious. Great value at €13. Staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. Highly recommended.

03/03/2024: Don't consider the negative reviews, because they mistakenly refer to another bar next door, and not to Desy Bakery. The little place is worth it, for the offer of sweet and savory dishes and for the kindness of the staff. On nice days you can comfortably sit on the outdoor tables. In addition to the goodness of the products and the kindness, I also found a lot of cleanliness and attention to the customer.
03/03/2024: I feel compelled to leave this review, because Desy Bakery deserves it and deserves redemption from WRONG REVIEWS that refer to ANOTHER LOCATION next door. So don't stop like I did at first and just look at the low rating (I only understood the reason later). The brunette girl I found behind the counter was welcoming, very kind and smiling. I tried a delicious pizza that was served hot and already cut. I also nibbled on a tasty, but light, round "panzerottino" filled with ham and cheese. I'm sorry I didn't have time when I returned from my commitment to buy some pumpkin and walnut sandwiches and to taste a nice slice of tart with cream and strawberries which already attracted me at first glance. I recommend trying it, I'll be back.

05/02/2024: Niente di più adatto per passare un paio di ore con persone care gustando un buon menù. In pieno centro ottimo per una pausa pranzo fra uno shopping e un "pedrocchino" il tipico caffé dello storico Pedrocchi o fra un"salto" al Santo e uno scato a prato della valle. Il self service a pranzo permette una scelta fra molteplici "piatti" descritti anche con dovizia di particolari dallo chef di turno. Il personale addetto alla sala aiuta a raggiungere il tavolo asegnato. Buono il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Il " vecchia Padova" é per noi ormai da anni un punto di riferimento insostituibile. Un neo? L' alta frequentazione! La sala é grande ma, per quanto i tavoli siano distanziati, impossibile non essere confusi dal chiacchericcio e dal via vai.
02/11/2023: Conosco il Ristorante Vecchia Padova da molti tempo e, anni addietro, ero un assiduo frequentatore per cene e pizze nei fine settimana. Ieri dono ritornato per la prima volta a pranzo dove ho sperimentato la loro formula self-service. Nulla da eccepire: buone proposte (tre per ogni portata), servizio rapido e gentile e prezzi assolutamente convenienti. In definitiva: Ambiente 8 - Menù 8 - Servizio 9 - Rapporto qualità / prezzo 10 Per me, per la pausa pranzo quando ci si trovo in centro a Padova, super consigliato!
