a bit poor chopping board with less than excellent products. the first course was gnocchi, walnuts and pasta with excellent fish. desserts: warm apple tart and excellent chocolate and hazelnut cake. prices a little high...

Happened by chance on a weekday in Stresa. Cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. I took some plin raviolini with porcini mushrooms. I would have preferred them without mushrooms with roast sauce, in the traditional way, but they make them like this, they cannot be varied on request and I have adapted. Then I had an excellent homemade dessert. I must say that the quality of the raw materials is completely perceivable. Not particularly cheap but not particularly excessive either. Nonetheless, a positive experience.

Friendly staff, super food and ambience prompted a return visit to this lovely restaurant situated in a slightly quieter street away from the busy main square in Stresa. After an unpleasant experience in another establishment closer to the lake where clearly customer service is of less importance, the warm welcome back to Degli Amici was even more appreciated. Pizza yesterday and grilled sea bass with spinach this evening were both great and I would highly recommend a visit.

Abbiamo mangiato in terrazza, al coperto, e siamo stati accolti benissimo, per lo più abbiamo mangiato veramente bene : pizza, pasta e dessert ! Ve lo consigliamo 😍

21/08/2023: Nothing special. We ate the pizza because we were hungry, but the pizzas were not as per the photographs provided by the restaurant on the internet (essential for those who are not local), the waitress did not know the ingredients of some pizzas on the menu. In any case, fast and good price.
