Family-run hotel for 5 generations with a friendly owner, deliberately designed like a house in which guests can experience Sicily in a bit of a private way. Carpets lie on the marble tiles, beautiful antique furniture made of walnut and rosewood, some with beautiful inlays, silver bowls and candlesticks, pictures, beautiful ceramic tiles in the bathrooms and traditional weaving from dwarf palms give the traveler a glimpse of a Sicily beyond mass tourism. An oasis in Scopello, which has otherwise become faceless due to tourism. The only downer: the restaurant is closed.
