After years we finally managed to come back. Nice service, good hut food. Moderate prices. A bit remote, so not overcrowded.

Schönes Wandergebiet und für eine Einkehr auf der Alm sehr zu empfehlen. Gutes Essen und viele gute und selbstgemachte Liköre.

Heute Wanderprogramm. Zuerst Wasser für den Hund, das mag der Hundebesitzer. Dann kam ziemlich zügig, obwohl es gut besucht war die Speisekarte u d das erste erfrischende Radler. Ralf hatte „Südtiroler Marende“ ich die „Bärenalm-Nudeln“, Rigatoni mit Salsiccia, Pilzen und Tomatensoße. Und nochmal für jeden ein Radler. Sind unter 50 Eur gut gestärkt da raus - und große Überraschung- wir konnten mit Karte zahlen. Das kommt ja nicht so oft vor in Südtirol und auf Almen. Unsere Empfehlung für durstige u d müde Wanderer. Die Alm kann auch gut mit dem Rad angefahren werden. Und gut gestärkt ist der restliche Weg zur Kirche St. Viglius, dem eigentlichen Ziel unserer Wanderung.

Tolle Alm mit phantastischer Aussicht, sehr gut besucht, darum längere Wartezeiten, aber das macht das gute Essen wieder wett Sehr freundliche Wirtsleute

05/04/2024: Delicious. Everything was perfect, food, service, …….I would love to come back.
26/01/2024: In the heart of Merano, a welcoming location and friendly service. We had an excellent dinner, excellent food, the only flaw was having to reach the upper floor with a few month old baby in the stroller but the service guys immediately offered to help.

04/04/2024: Remember that this is the hotel refuge of the family of the great Italian tennis player SINNER, his father, a chef, and his mother, a waitress, work here. Since Jannik has excelled at the top of the world rankings, this place has become almost a national monument and many go even just to take a photo, it will be very difficult to find a place unless you book well in advance. Now the father is no longer the restaurant chef because Jannik has chosen him as his personal chef, so now he travels with him to various tournaments around the world. On the photo on the site, of all the workers in the Fondovalle refuge, you will also find the photo of father HansPeter and mother Siglinde. Jannik seems to have grown up as a child, here, in Sesto, in this very hotel, while his parents worked.
