We had two dishes of spaghetti (bolo and squid ink), the quantity was satisfactory and we enjoyed it.
You had to take a menu (dish+drink+coffee), menus at 15€ and 18€ depending on the dishes. No cutlery included in the bill.

My son picked it out for us spontaneously. Cheap menu with really great taste in a super small restaurant, not a classic tourist shop that is on every corner in Venice.
If you want to be sure of a place, you should reserve in advance like we did, the team is super friendly.

Decided to come here because of the reviews and this place did not disappoint. The food was delicious, good portion sizes and reasonably priced. The service was excellent! if I am ever back in venice I will definitely come back here.

We were very well received in this small, cozy house and the food was very good. Puppa Bar Venezia is in an area where Venetians live, and even so, there was a small wait for visitors. While we waited, it was possible to have a drink outside, on the street. My friend ate pizza. But I ate the Mediterranean paccheri, wonderful! A rich sauce of tomatoes, olives, capers, to clean the plate. I would go back several times to eat the other seafood pastas. The dishes are WELL served and the price includes a non-alcoholic drink and a coffee - a great price for Venice. I recommend it with nostalgia and mouth watering!

Spectacular, I recommend it!!
We came to Venice for the first time from Spain and this place is great. It's small but as soon as we entered they sat us at a table. The food was delicious (spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti with squid ink). The price is 32 euros for 2, with coffee and drink included. Good music and good service.

Cheap? Yes. Tasty? No. Good service? Yes
The ragu bolognese had so little meat. Its literally just spaghetti in tomato sauce.
I guess if you are passing by and need something to eat, sure. But absolutely ni need to visit otherwise.

Nell'insegna esterna di questo locale compare il termine "pasticceria", ma basta entrare per rendersi conto che più che una pasticceria è un luogo di ristoro. Ieri pomeriggio verso le cinque nella vetrinetta sul bancone c'erano solo due biscottoni con le uvette e due brioches di quelle scaldate a microonde. Ed era strapieno di stranieri che mangiavano piattoni di pastasciutta. Stavo andando al cinematografo e mi sono limitato a un biscottone con le uvette e a un caffè. Ho trovato grazioso e intimo il locale, e particolarmente ciarliero il barista bengalese nonostante le sue scarse conoscenze della lingua italiana.
