Typical restaurant in the historic center with a very nice and well-kept environment. Dishes with not a very wide choice (which I consider a plus and synonymous with accurate workmanship) and a lot of flavour. Good wine list. Excellent service and value for money

Excellent food, attentive service, very particular place created from rustic environments, well renovated but overcrowded in such small rooms with so many crowded tables, unfortunately after an hour the air is too stale and not very comfortable. I point this out not as a penalty but only for clear information that given the shape it is completely devoid of parking, you have to park the car hoping to find a place in the square and walk 10 minutes on foot

It is always a pleasure to stop for dinner at Vicolo Prison, a pleasure for the palate, excellent meats, excellent cuisine from appetizers to desserts and always perfect wine recommendations, but also a pleasure for the spirit, thanks for the friendliness and friendliness of everyone staff. Abbiamo cenato un sabato sera di novembre e abbiamo assaggiato un antipasto di salumi misti (buono), delle lumache in umido (buone, anche se non propriamente alla Bourguignonne come presentate, ma con un ripieno alle verdure delicato). Come piatto principale abbiamo assaggiato dei tagliolini al tartufo bianco fuori menu, presenti come proposta stagionale, davvero strepitosi e una picanha buonissima e super tenera. Abbiamo chiuso con un assaggio di formaggi francesi con marmellata di gran qualità. Bella l'offerta di vini, dai più abbordabili (abbiamo bevuto un'ittima bottiglia di Bolgheri da 30€) ai più impegnativi (Sassicaia e addirittura Masseto, che non si vede spesso in carta). Ambiente molto accogliente. Titolare evidentemente competente e sorridente, che fa sempre piacere.
