Balìce In Milazzo

I celebrated with my girlfriend... It was a wonderful evening in a wonderful restaurant with exceptional waiters and we ate really well, congratulations 🥰🥰

Siamo tornati dopo qualche tempo a provare questo grazioso ristorante, questa volta in compagnia di nostro figlio. Avevo già recensito il locale, il cui stile è veramente gradevole, ambiente rilassante e ben curato, azzeccata la presenza delle piante; molto gradita anche la cucina totalmente a vista. Ci siamo stati diverse volte e posso dire che è stato un crescendo di perfezione, questa volta merita un'altra recensione perché abbiamo provato piatti ottimi, con equilibri di sapori a mio modesto avvisto perfetti, accostamenti graditi con la giusta ratio che denota l'esperienza dello chef nel proporli. Ci ha fatto anche molto piacere il trattamento che hanno riservato per nostro figlio, nonostante il loro livello di ristorazione, lo hanno coccolato non facendogli mancare nulla. Complimenti a tutti per i piatti, per il servizio e per la cortesia. Ci rivedremo presto!!!

La salle est belle, élégante, les tables sont espacées, disposées autour d'une grande cuisine ouverte. Nous nous sommes contentés de prendre 2 antipasti et deux primi : présentation soignée, bons produits, saveurs. La petite salade de seiche, crue et cuite, petits pois, oseille, était très fine, douce, accompagnée d'une crème d'amande, mais aurait gagné à une pointe d'acidité relevant le tout ; le poulpe au barbecue, avec une mousse de pomme de terre fumée, câpres et sambuca, était particulièrement savoureux. Mention spéciale pour les Tagliolini Balìce, au beurre citronné au fumet de poissons, exceptionnelles : ce plat mérite sa réputation. Très bon service. Une très belle adresse.

Well, after Alicudi we needed a bit of civility. Excellent food, there's nothing to say. We drank well, quiet atmosphere, they were very kind. Only one big flaw that, personally, I can't stand: you can't serve the dishes ordered without taking into account the different cooking and delivery times at the table. I ate, the person with me watched and vice versa. We practically each had dinner on our own. If it's really too complicated to standardize the times, at least bring a small plate to share so as not to leave anyone as a spectator to the other's food. However you eat well and that's the important thing. I'm definitely a pain in the ass.

One of the best dining experiences of my life. We chose the "Balìce" tasting menu, consisting of eight courses, and two truly wonderful wines from the restaurant's large cellar, which offers an excellent selection of Sicilian wines (but not only). The journey, from the welcome plate to the dessert, was simply divine. A refined, never banal, creative proposal, with an impeccable presentation of the dishes thanks to the dining room staff, who made our experience in this restaurant even more beautiful and engaging. An unforgettable evening!

A true gourmet restaurant with a young chef from Milazzo who returned after important experiences. Young and trained staff, furnishings and interiors worthy of a modern venue in a large metropolis. The quality of the cuisine makes you forgive the quantities which sometimes (e.g. for pasta) could be more generous. We will find it in the guides. After 1 year we confirm the excellent opinion also on the new menu Widely varied, always with original dishes, although mainly based on typical ingredients and presented with great class. It is currently a restaurant listed in the Michelin guide, but if one day we have a starred restaurant in the area we already know the name.

Un posto splendido, gestito da persone squisite. Abbiamo scelto il percorso completo che suggeriamo caldamente. Raffinatezza e ricerca senza scadere nel banale. Inizialmente un pó spaventati dalla grandezza delle porzioni poi a fine pasto in realtà ci siamo resi conto che era tutto calibrato alla perfezione. 10 su 10. Personale cordiale e attento. Midollo con gamberi crudi.. sublime. Sarde e Totano spettacolari Bravi!
