Babae In Firenze

The seared tuna was delicious! Service a bit slow and unfriendly but otherwise alright.

We were tired and looking for a last minute place to have a nice dinner on our final night in Florence and I am so glad we stumbled upon Babae. The food was great, the menu offers a lot of variety without compromising quality, which is something we noticed many other restaurants failed to do. The space is really nice and the drinks are great but what impressed us most was definitely the staff. After being treaty so coldly by service and staff everywhere else, we were treated to perfection at Babae. Our waiter Jean was kind and attentive and super fun to talk to, made us want to come back! We wanted to tip him but unfortunately couldn’t tip with card, which seems to be the norm here, and didn’t have any cash, so hopefully the good review will make up for it. Wish service was like this everywhere else in Italy. Will definitely be coming back next time we’re in Florence.

Amazing place to grab wine in the window

Through the window, you can pay only by card, inside - as you like. Opposite, across the road - a basket for puta made of glasses. I had to wait a while for an answer. In light rain - there was no queue, she gathered after us. We tried 4 drinks, I liked Aperol the most)

I came here foe the wine window….a unique experience but a short one. We caught the place as we were walking from our parking spot to central Florence but I wouldnt necessarily go out of my way to have the drink but nice to experience it anyway. Cant imagine anyone other than tourists actually buy drinks this way though…

The wine window is a meeting point for all basic people lol 😂

Friendly staff but mainly this is a instagrammable moment, be prepared to wait in line :) Seating across the way inside at their sister restaurant

I went here later at night. I went to the wine window outside for the experience. It is a cool old idea. The wine was also good.

Sono stata da Babae per ordinare il calice di drink dalla loro classica buchetta del vino!!! Un esperienza torppo sfiziosa da fare assolutamente se vi trovate e Firenze . Ce un fatti una buchetta dove suonare il campanello e ordinare il vostro drink o calice di vino e vi verrà servito direttamente da quella buchetta come facevano i nobili fiorentini nell' antichità! Il prezzo del drink altino ma consiglio l esperienza
