Abbiamo pranzato in famiglia in questo splendido angolo sulle colline alle porte di Firenze. Noi adulti abbiamo provato il risotto vegetariano (zucca, funghi, melanzane, carote e pomodorini) , davvero squisito mentre il piccolo ha gustato le margherite (una sorta di ravioli tondi) al pesto rosso, trovandole eccellenti (il sugo con la ricotta ha meritato una bella scarpetta). Come secondo abbiamo assaggiato la millefoglie di melenzane e lo sformato di verdure su crostino di pane. Tutto ottimo e gustoso. Servizio impeccabile, attento ma non invadente, conto assolutamente in linea con la qualità del servito. La vista che si gode dal tavolo è magnifica, la sostanza che riempie i piatti non è da meno! Da tornarci!

Ci vuole una mezz’ora d’auto da Firenze per raggiungere questo ristorante ma ne vale la pena sia per la magnifica location con vista panoramica mozzafiato sia per la qualità dei piatti. Noi abbiamo ordinato pesce e ci sono particolarmente piaciuti i paccheri alla siciliana e la fantasia di mare. Personale cortese e disponibile, servizio piuttosto lento. Prezzi leggermente alti ma accettabili per la complessiva buona qualità dei piatti e la bella location.

20/05/2024: Meals taken in the evening under the entrance porch, very pleasant waiter, pizza not very big but good.
18/05/2024: Service was great! The food however was not. I had the lasagna and braised beef. The lasagna was mid, but the killing point was that it was cold in the bottom of the middle of the lasagna, it was not fresh at all. The braised beef was dry and the taste was lacking. Truly the food I had was incredibly disappointing but the only saving graces was the it was in a nice spot, the service was good, and the food in the rest of my group was alright. But that’s pretty much it, everyone agreed that it was just fine, which is just plain disappointing. Definitely a miss with a lot of dishes but I would like to add that the Pizza and Steak are a few of their hits. I would recommend to weigh all of the options in the area.
