I had a late dinner in this delightful trattoria, found by chance while looking for a place to dine on a Saturday evening, at the end of a very tiring day and after a long journey from Milan, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The starters made in home with seasonal vegetables are simply amazing!! The unbottled wine they offer is of the highest quality and the grilled meat has the aroma and flavor you expect. The decidedly generous portions didn't allow us to try anything else, but we will definitely return to try the rest, including the pizza. Everything was seasoned with a very courteous and helpful service and the innkeeper puts himself completely at your disposal. Highly recommended!!!

Honest food and courteous owners. Almost no choice about the menu, which was unique like it happens in workers restaurants. It's an appreciable policy, but it should lead to low prices. Instead, we spent the disproportionate sum of 25 € each, and not all of us ate a complete meal. Italian restaurateurs have trespassed the threshold by far.

Trattoria Pane e Pomodoro

19/07/2023: Localino proprio al centro di Rodi Garganico dal quale è possibile godere di un suggestivo scorcio del mare sottostante. Il ristorante propone piatti di mare e di terra in un menù con molte alternative. Le orecchiette alle cime di rapa e pomodorini sono buonissime, gustose ma condite in modo leggero e senza eccessi. I spaghetti alle vongole invece sono precotti e quindi hanno una consistenza non gradevolissima, oltre ad essere conditi con toppo olio. La grigliata di pesce è freschissima, di ottimo sapore. Fave e cicorietta è risultato infine un piatto un po' anonimo, poco succulento, mancava di quello sprint che trovo nello stesso piatto cucinato da mia suocera!! Nonostante sia un ristorante di taglio essenzialmente turistico, la qualità dei piatti è comunque soddisfacente, come anche il rapporto qualità prezzo.
17/07/2023: Frittura mista spettacolare pesce freschissimo e cucinato bene , anche gli spaghetti con le cozze buonissimi sughetto perfetto e buono con tanto dì scarpetta finale !!! Ottima anche la grigliata mista Staff gentilissimo e molto educato Complimenti

Camping Villaggio Lido Del Gargano

22/08/2023: We have just spent our holidays in this family-run campsite, rather small, simple and shady, with friendly, kind and nice staff Anna and Vincenzo as management, Fabio and Gabriele as beach service. Convenient for the beach 500m away and from the town center with the shops (very nice town but abandoned...there would be a lot of work to be completed starting from the pavements). Positive notes about the campsite: convenient for visiting Rhodes, Peschici, Vieste, the Umbrian forest and surrounding areas. Good internal restaurant, silence hour from 2pm to 4pm, attentive and helpful beach service, they accept dogs, ours also had a great time at the seaside. Negative notes: campsite that does not exploit its great potential, little entertainment only music or karaoke, cold water for washing dishes, hot coin-operated showers, poor bathroom cleanliness. In general, we are left with a wonderful holiday memory, recommended if you don't have big needs.
