Very good pizza. Fast and kind service

I went to Turin for a few days on the occasion of the April 25th long weekend and stopped to have dinner several evenings in this place a few minutes from the center. The restaurant is quite spacious and well looked after, consisting of a main room at the entrance, an internal room and a large terrace on the terrace. The menu offers meat, fish and pizzas for all palates with a wide range of Apulian cuisine. I have always been satisfied at all the dinners, excellent pizza, large and well stuffed, good fish especially the well-executed frying, not least the meat and starters, the first courses not exciting. Generous portions, prices a little above average but the quality is there and deserves it, staff are welcoming, friendly and available for all requests. Parking not very large but nearby. Worth trying, recommended.

We ordered two fish first courses which could really be improved; little flavor (tasteless) pasta a little overcooked for my tastes. Paccheri sea bass and calamarata ragù. The portions were so small that we felt the need to get a margherita pizza. The pizza is good. Good and easily digestible dough.

If like me you love fish and Apulian cuisine in particular, the Antico Casale is worth an in-depth visit. The restaurant is large and spacious, with a main room and a small room inside as well as a large outdoor area, enjoyable all year round, but excellent in the summer months. The meat menu is quite varied with a good choice of first courses. However, the best, in my humble opinion, the cuisine expresses in the fish dishes, starting from the cold and hot appetizers, continuing with the first courses, excellent paccheri with crab, spaghetti with seafood and stuffed pasta, good grilled fish Excellent grilled and Catalan-style prawns. For those who like seafood, molluscs and prawns in an excellent broth, I recommend the Casale pan-fried dish as a single dish. Good desserts, fast friendly service, I highly recommend booking, especially on weekends. On Saturday evenings, only if you have the patience to wait, slightly longer times.

I go to the Antico Casale restaurant from time to time. I have always enjoyed eating in the restaurant part, especially the fish. I find a fair price for the quality and service offered. I would return and recommend!

I was disappointed, I can't say I ate badly, but I can't say otherwise either. The tuna steak was cold, the sautéed chicory was very far from the original.
