For how much we heard about this place and for that in Napoli, I was underwhelmed by the pizza. In my experience the top of the pizza was wet and the bottom really burnt. It was higher priced than other places out of that area.

We had an amazing experience at Antica Pizzeria di Matteo! The food is truly authentic and absolutely amazing. One unique aspect of the restaurant is that you pass through the kitchen to reach the upstairs seating area, which adds a charming touch to the dining experience. We loved every minute of our visit and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine taste of Italy. Don't miss out on this gem!

Average vibe, disastrous service and excellent pizza.
The interior is not completely different from Naples, which is strewn with plaster and rubble; after an hour of wandering around the city, it's hard to notice that the walls are cracked and the air conditioning is so dirty it's scary. Service? A waiter with a level of respect for the customer close to zero. Olewka, throwing napkins in a plastic cup on the table. Embarrassing! Only pizza worth visiting!

We did not have a reservation but could immediately sit inside (upstairs). Service is fast and the pizza Napolitana was delicious!

The best pizza I have ever eaten was here. The Genoese. Recommended by the waiter, a very kind, helpful and friendly guy. The margherita pizza is very very good too. The calzone is also good. good prices

We passed by around 7pm on a November evening, when they had just opened for service and were seated comfortably at a table before the crowds surfaced. We enjoyed the margerita and the pesto pizza- both piping hot and delicious. Friendly service, but staff are visibly stretched - I'm slightly surprised to find the adverse feedback on their attitude, its evident they're short-staffed, not hostile.
ps- this is the same pizzeria where Clinton made a surprise visit.

Servizio nella norma come anche i prezzi (2€ frittatina di pasta) ma la bontà delle frittatine di pasta, ahimè non ho potuto apprezzare anche le pizze), è di notevole livello: leggera, cremosa e saporita.
