The best pizza in Cagliari. Certainly, an electric oven, but a dough... Simply excellent, crunchy until the last piece. Pizza so good, we will go back tomorrow.

Unbelievable value for price! We had a €20 lunch deal which included delicious fresh crab pasta, fish, wine and coffee. We were also impressed by the good service and the attention to details providing refreshing wipes and tools to facilitate eating the fresh fish. Antica Hostaria is honestly the only place to be at lunchtime!!

I got to the restaurant early by Italian standards to have dinner, so I was alone until just before I left. However, since the restaurant was pleasantly decorated, classical music was playing, and the three waiters present provided excellent service, that didn't matter to me. We started with an aperitif, as far as I know it was Prosecco, alongside still water and Coca-Cola; In terms of drinks, it's well positioned (the wine list in particular was very detailed, but you can also get local beer). The dishes are just as varied: lots of fish, pizza and a variety of pasta dishes, as well as a few meat dishes; all with a small selection of side dishes to choose from. Finally I chose the Filetto di Manzo al Cannonau with grilled vegetables (eggplant, zucchini and peppers). Before this came to the table, I was brought a small selection of different slices of toasted bread. Both the fillet and the vegetables came to the table promptly. The meat was medium rare, the “sauce” was good, but both could have used a little more seasoning. The same applies to the vegetables, but since they brought me salt, that was finally resolved. After refusing dessert (the food fills you up), I rounded things off with a limoncello, which was served very generously in an iced glass. In total I paid €38.50 for everything, which I think is a fair price. In summary: If I visit the south of the island again, I know which restaurant I can go to with a clear conscience.

Esperienza non troppo entusiasmante, cibo discreto, servizio buono. Locale accogliente, prezzo leggermente alto per quanto servito.

Nel centro storico di Cagliari. Atmosfera anni 80, con alcuni piatti tradizionali e altri più moderni fatti e presentati bene. La qualitá della materia prima è molto buona. Bis di primi spaghetti con arselle e bottarga e spaghetti ai ricci di mare. Buonissimi. Le porzioni sono molto generose. Fritto fatto con attenzione. Dolce squisito (raviolo fritto ripieno di ricotta, con miele). Il personale è simpatico e alla mano. Spero di tornarci quando sarò di nuovo a Cagliari.
