Beautiful place. Great Atmosphere. Bartender lady could be a bit a nicer.

We had lunch at the wine shop on the recommendation of the hotel where we are staying. Excellent food and friendly, attentive and precise staff. Wide choice of very good wine!! The only criticism, but a matter of personal taste, we didn't like the environment very much as it was dark and retro.

Food was incredible. The Som had a fantastic recommendation for me which went with the meal excently.

The place has an attractive offer of both food and wine. The environment is discreet: although I am a lover of classical culture, as a Christian I cannot help but contest Aristotle's phrase written on the wall "wine comforts hope". Perhaps on the occasion of the next painting, I would use a verse from Horace. However, without getting into theological or literary disputes, the food is based on good raw materials, the meat was very tender, the pasta of the Valeggio tortelli was excellent, but in general the dishes lack personality. In the pork escalopes, the mustard was not noticeable and the combination with the agretti was impersonal. The cheese platter with mustard is excellent. The service of the sommeliers is also good, with some flaws in the remaining service, due to the delays in taking away the empty plates and the absolutely distracted and once again impersonal and cold, at times hasty manner; there's no point in asking if everything is OK if you don't wait for the customer's response. In general it is a place with potential but perhaps still a little too oriented towards tourist customers, and for this reason also with an inadequate quality/price ratio. Of course, we must still take into account that the restaurant is in the center of Verona and this has its own value.

Excellent crunchy flatbread, abundant filling and truly quality products. I took the Summer while my partner took number 4 and I must say that the fresh tomato was also really good and the tasty scamorza should not be underestimated. Prices accessible to practically everyone! Truly excellent experience.

I entered for the first time today 05/14/2024, welcomed by the cashier Alice, the two counter operators Mohammed and Antonio, friendly, practical, fast and above all full of energy, ate very well and spent little. I'm really happy to have been here.

The selection of wines are great!

In pieno centro, in un ambiente al contempo raffinato e informale, questa osteria vi accoglie in un ambiente caldo e ‘casalingo’ che trasmette un senso di familiarità e benessere. I soffitti con travi a vista, le bottiglie sugli scaffali, i tavoli forse un po’ troppo vicini ma che comunque riescono a garantire una certa intimità sono gli elementi che spiccano maggiormente entrando. Il menu è piuttosto variegato con piatti tradizionali e alcune proposte un po’ fuori dal comune. Abbiamo ordinato un fantastico risotto all’Amarone e una bottiglia di Amarone del 2018. Per chiudere caffè e grappa. Non hanno amari e le grappe sono solo bianche o barricate. Si mangia molto bene. Il servizio è veloce e la competenza del sommelier nel proporre il vino degna di nota. Spesa totale 140€. Non poco. Ma vale la pena. Prenotate. A pranzo il ristorante era tutto pieno.

Con la famiglia decidiamo di recarci in questo rinomato locale per degustare vini e prelibatezze. Il locale ha un'impostazione un po' hold style, con luci soffuse e ambienti poco ben illuminati. Il servizio è cortese, i ragazzi gentili e ben organizzati. Dal menù scegliamo un prosecco fongaro del 2016 e un un Amarone della Valpolicella. A seguire antipasto con tre polentine, lingua, tartare e gallinella da dividere. In seguito prendiamo un risotto all'amarone, 4 filetti di manzo con fois gras e salsa al medeira, un piatto di pappardelle al ragù di cervo e un cappone ripieno di magro. Da parte di tutti gli invitati devo dire che i vini hanno ricevuto un ottimo apprezzamento, il cibo forse un po' meno. Il risotto era scotto, i vari filetti con cotture differenti e non uniformi, crudo il patè... Però nel compenso è stata una piacevole esperienza. Allego foto e ricevuta fiscale come sempre. Il conto un po' sopra le righe ma niente di eclatante.
