11/05/2024: The pizzeria is located outside Atri, along one of the main roads that connect Atri to the sea, it does not have a reserved or convenient parking lot, after all it is located in a structure which according to the name should be a renovated oil mill. The place is not very large, clean and tidy, very nice. But let's get to the menu. In addition to the classic Teramo appetizers and the inevitable kebabs (which I haven't eaten but which I am told are very good and I hope to return soon to eat them), the menu is obviously focused on pizza. They have a very wide choice with a combination of excellent products truly worthy of a starred restaurant. We ordered a small appetizer (mixed bruschetta and fried cheese) and two pizzas, a liter of beer and two coffees. At the start of the meal, the restaurant offers an entrée consisting of two "pizzodelle or fritters" with tomato cubes (see photo), all for the sum of €41.50 (see photo). Overall the opinion is just sufficient, given that the pizza is not cooked in a wood oven, that the pizza dough is sufficient but the cooking is not done to perfection (the dough inside the crust remains moist, "chubby" and there are several burnt parts on the outside, see photo), that the fried cheese is good but does not have the typical Teramo batter, these are obviously my personal opinions based on my experience in this place.
Praise goes to the dining room staff who were attentive and kind, always courteous and ready to satisfy the needs of the diners.
01/04/2024: Even though we hadn't reserved a table, we were still assigned a seat. The staff is very friendly and tries to ensure good communication despite the language barrier.
The meal was excellent. We would like to come back again.
You can park on the street or at the church.
And our dog was allowed to come too.
